If I click on Protect under Identity protection, application protection for internet explorer and firefox, Firefox will not open and Internet Explorer opens but it says "not responding" on the toolbar and closes.   if I click on Allow they both work fine,   I have Unistalled Webroot  rebooted and reinstalled rebooted again to no avail, I have also unistalled and reinstalled IE, firefox and even Flash, made sure during install I did not use the saved preferences and evern restored to default settings in webroot.   Help!   thank you in advance.      

It al started with a text about a microwave I am selling. The direction said to go direct to e-mail that was listed. i DID, it wanted my name and adress in whick to send me a check. I did and nothing so I went back to the text and responded. my text didn't go though it said     Reply STOP to cancel. how to delete safesearch? webroot not doing it.

Webroot has it's own firewall. Will it hurt toha ve 2 firewalls? (I already have the  Microsoft firewall active). Should I disable the Microsoftfi rewall or leave both in place?

my wife's mac hijacked by a iwedios.com stating it's apple.com, and call this # immediately to resolve a virus.   the errror message is rundll32.exe  which i believe is a windows command--not a command on mac--but I could be wrong.    any thoughts?

I'm having trouble uninstalling Webroot from my laptop that is currently running on Windows 8.1. The program does not appear in the Programs list when I go to Control Panel to try uninstalling a program. Please help!!!!

I have Webroot and today and yesterday I was tossed off the web and email because my Provider Frontier said my email was comprimised and that there was malishis email sent from my email address. I ran a scan and was informed that there was no virus and I was protected. So what good is it to have Webroot if I am not protected

Most test results I have seen over the last years place WebRoot at the top with the best protection. Obviously, like any hotly contested business, competitors are always vying to be king of the hill.   Tom's Guides, recently published test results by Henry Casey comparing WebRoot for OSX against Avast, Avira, BitDefender, Kaspersky, and Sophos. Has WebRoot done testing to see what results they are getting compared with other protection software. Anyone have experience with actual comparative tests?

I have been using a Cloud app for months now. Webroot has suddenly decided that it is a threat and keeps removing it from my PC. How do I stop my Webroot from deleting it every time I download it?

My system analyzer starts to work and when it is getting toward the end it disappears and does not give me score for my computer. Why is this happening and how can I correct this?

I have been trying to access an FTP account with Webroot installed. I am assured my username/password is correct by the administrator. This combination works on another computer. I have tried using Filezilla, WS-FTP and Cyberduck, but none are working.  I tried turning off the firewall and none of these programs work. What settings do I need to use on webroot to make FTP to and from a server possible. Thanks

Hi, I am using Firefox and Google as search engine. When I got the result list Webroot Webreputation puts the reputation flag in front of the search list - however when I go to the next page of the results the Webrep flaf is missing. Trusteer is malware protection from USAA Insurance that I used in conjunction with my previous malware protection, namely Norton 360.  The two of them seemed to work well together, just as USAA said they would.  In my upgrade to Win 10, I seemed to have lost Trusteer.  Just wondering if I should resume using it now that I have Webroot.
