webroot firewall is blocking wireless device connection through roku.  If i turn off the firewall it works perfectly.   I can even turn firewall back on once it is connected and it works fine.  How can I get firewall to allow this connection?

Error: ‘ Keycode cannot be verified …. make sure WSA is allowed to connect to network ….’ I migrated to new windows laptop. First I uninstalled pre installed ‘Bullguard’ an antivirus software. Then I tried to activate keycode in WSA. But I got that error all the time I attempt. Contacted customer support many times and they gave solutions once in a day for three days now. But nothing worked:Restarted and tried again with the latest WSA (fail) Uninstalled and deleted “%PROGRAMDATA%” and restarted as instructed then attempted again (fail)Someone please help … I tried to call support team from India but I could only send a voice mail for call back*** I used WSA previously in Oman on my old laptop now moved to India and bought new laptop (country change??) ****Now I cannot even login to my WSA account with exact Email ID and password!!!

I am developing Visual Studio C# applications. When I rebuild the projectand run it in debug mode, the debugger will not step into the project because it’s trying to load WRDll.x86.dll symbols.If I run the project without debugging, it runs fine.  And if I wait a period of time , I can run the project in debugger mode, but as soon as I recompile the project, it gives me the message that it’s trying to load WRDLL.x86.dll and won’t step into the debugger.It’s as if Webroot detects the project as a new executable and won’t run it in the debugger, but then after a period of time (30 minutes or an hour) it allows it to run in the debugger.Or it is as if there’s a background process in WebRoot that hangs, and causes Visual Studio debugger to not work, and when the process terminates or get recycled, then Visual Studio works.Any idea how to fix this strange problem?I’m using Visual Studio 2013, Update 4

Until a few days ago, I had no trouble downloading files from my colleague.  Suddenly Webroot is blocking them and the only thing I know how to do is to close Webroot, download, and then open it again.  How can I tell Webroot that these are safe files and to allow me to download?Thanks!

how do i remove Webroot's browser extension from Firefox and new Microsoft edge, the option to remove/disable is greyed out

I have Webroot Internet Security Plus 8.0.4.42 (I think it is the 2014 version).  I have  a couple of questions regarding the firewall.   How can I manage program access to the internet?  In particular, is there a list of permanently allowed and blocked files that I can change or reset.  I accidentally permanently allowed a file access, and I would like to change that.   Can IP addresses be blocked?  If so, can specific ports be blocked?   Thanks for any help.

Some help, please.I was reading some newspaper articles online when suddenly 3 images appeared on the right of my screen, and I cannot remove them. My Webroot scan reports no threats found each time I run the scan. I have tried switching my computer off and back on several times. And the x in the top right hand corner of the images does not delete the images. How can I rid my screen of them, please? Thank you.

I’ve been dealing with fast battery drain since buying this new macbook pro. I spent over $1k on this  laptop and could not even leave it unplugged at night because while it slept the battery would drain. Removing chrome seemed to solve this, but I like chrome. Someone suggested installing chrome and removing webroot. I didn’t want to do that, I’ve been a webroot customer since 2007, back when it was PrevX on my system. Finally tired of the problem I tried it. What do you know, worked fine. Still though, I didn’t want to go without webroot. So I changed over to another browser and kept webroot. Battery has held up fine. Lately it’s started getting slow though, so I began digging. Webroot Daemon was eating up my CPU. I have never even seen webroot daemon in my activity monitor before now. I just update my cataline and now my Webroot is not working.  I know it wasn’t supported as a 64bit software and I’m assuming thats most likely the cause. Currently have 20 days left on Secure Anywhere (1 yr 3 licenses) and Webroot keeps bugging me to renew.    Have new CD and key code for 1 year 3 licenses from Amazon.    Been thinking of opening Webroot click on gear by my account, enter my new key and click on activate.  Will I get a renew of 365 days or 385 days?   Recently had a problem with another product that I didn’t get remaining days.  Maybe I should just wait until one day left on current license and ignore Webroot bugging me to renew?

Webroot LastPass on chrome has been working for a long time and then today I noticed that the icon was missing. I thought it was hidden, but when I go to extensions the only webroot extension I see if the webroot filtering. Did it get removed for some reason? I know I didn’t remove it.And if I have to reinstall it, how do I do it? I find instructions on how to set LastPass up but absolutely no instructions on how to add it to the different browsers... unless I’m just missing it.I went to the Chrome Playstore and I can find LastPass, but no Webroot LassPass. Do I use the one called LastPass only or is there another one that I am suppose to use? And how do it find it in the PlayStore? Or where am I suppose to go to get it?Thanks.

Running Malwarebytes Premium Version 4.2.0.  Should I turn on Malwarebytes option Always Register Malwarebytes in the System Security Center?   It is on by default, but it almost sounds like it might override a Webroot function?

I have Windows 10 and it has Windows Defender. Whenever i download something it scan it automatically. webroot Anti virus will do the same thing. My question is why would i chose webroot antivirus when we already have Windows Defender ?
