Wondering why my Kindle & Webroot Mobile Device about 8 months ago has a yellow exclamation! My Tablet needs attention.  I know how to activate this on my Kindle but leery of doing so.  If my device gets stolen it can scream, lock, and lock with message however I don't take the Kindle out of my house. I just left as is.    So if my Kindle does get stolen if this feature is not activated I won't be able to locate it via GPS?   I read some other users that posted back in 2012 that when their Android goes in safe mode it locks and they have to input the password. Not sure if this is still relevent.   I am going to leave as is. Thanks!

Is there an easy fix for this problem? I'm having the exact same thing happen to me. Everything is updated and have SAC, but will not allow me to sign in on mobile although I can access my account from desktop and laptop.

Just curious since Chrome OS is now integrating Android apps if Webroot was going to offer protection. I know you have a mobile app now. Any thoughts on to how well this will protect the newest Chromebooks coming out?

I have Webroot Secure Anywhere for 3 devices. 2 for PC's which has green checkmark showing covered. My Android cell phone has green checkmark but shows zero devices. I renewed through Geek Squad using old phone. Everything looked good until I upgraded my phone. What Do I need to do to ensure this cell phone is secure?

Hello everyone,   Completely new member of the forum here with a question for the ages. What is abracadabra!?   To elaborate a bit, I went into App Inspector and then Network Monitor in which I found a process towards the end of the list called "abracadabra". It has 2 processes open which use the UDP protocol and uses a remote port called 0.0.0.0:123.    I tried searching on google with no luck which I found kind of odd, and there is seemingly no mention of it on this forum either.   So my question to you is: what is abracadabra? And why doesn't it end in alakazam?

Hi, It's time to decide whether or not to renew my WebRoot mobile licenses, and I am undecided on whether or not to find an alternative. Unlike the desktop app, the mobile app has been less reliable in my one year experience with a handful of devices.   What is the current state of the Apple app? Last I checked it constantly shutdown, or was shutdown by iOS to save battery power, and required a reboot of the phone to restart. Is that still the case?    For anyone else on the community using WebRoot Mobile protection, what has your experience been like?   Thanks, Bill

Noob here...(shoots hand up)   Was playing around with Webroot on my Android (Marshmallow build, Android 7.0, all current software updates) and decided to do a "Review Apps"  scan.   Results are unchanged for example when I access my Metronome app (and app that helps keep time in music)  It did have permissions that I thought that an app like that shouldn't have.  So I went into the app via Webroot, which took me to the Application Info.    For a test, I turn off every single permission that it did have with the exception of Storage (assuming that it needs to keep the settings I set for it)  However, the Notifications and Permissions are not allowed or blocked.   I rescanned and the numbers on the initial App Inspector Review and it remained unchanged.   Now the real question.

I installed the webroot secureweb app on my iPad.  Here is a list of issues.  Any help is greatly appreciated. 1.  After installing, my account still indicates I have NO mobile devices protected in contrast to the webroot website instructions. 2.  There is no toolbar at the bottom of the secureweb window. 3.  Because of (2) it is hard to find bookmarks. 4.  Once I found the bookmarks there was no option to edit the name of bookmarks. 5.  The reviews on the Apple app site are ALL negative with only one exception and I don't think that user understands how to use the secureweb app. 6.  I thought Webroot provided 24/7 support.  Guess I was wrong.   Has anyone found solutions to issues 1-4 above?

I have an Android Tablet v.4.4 on my webroot security that keeps telling me I have a Trojan. The one listed above. When I try to remove it, it says, "Uninstall Unsuccessful." Any ideas?

Hello,   yesterday late evening I wanted to install my new SIM into my Android phone. I turned it off, replaced the SIM, turned it back on again. I was then asked to give my Password. Not having used the password in a long time I tried to check the password online, then finally reset the password online. After this, I entered the new password into the phone (hoping no typos but not sure as aliased "*********"). The phone should have had acces to the WLAN at my home (which itself is password protected ofc, but if the system is running, the password is saved there) so the password change on Webroot could have been checked. Now, the phone started to start, then the screen went black. I checked on my account online and found it is locked up. However, I do not get any reaction from the phone. Pushing the start button will do nothing. I tried to replace the old SIM and put it on charge also, but no effect. The only reaction I get at all, is that when I put it on charge

I just renewed my WSA Complete Subscription for another 2 years today, well before my current subscription was to expire.  I ran the scan on my laptop and after the system showed that the program subscription has renewed for 2 years plus the remaining time I had on my current subscription.   HOWEVER, when I ran a manual scan on my LG phone with my WSA Complete app, it still shows me the red arrow subscription expires in 23 days blurb.   I rescanned my phone twice and it still shows that, so I am wondering if I need to do something else or is there something I'm not doing that I should do or is there some kind of delay with updating the phone app system?   Sorry for such a silly question, but being severely tech challenged I never know if I'm missing a crucial step or not!   Thanks for patience and input!❤️

I am running Webroot SecureAnywhere Mobile Business Security version 4.1.1.8036 on my Droid Turbo android version 6.0.1. Yesterday I noticed a message stating "Secure Web Browing disabled." I have tried several times to enable Secure Web Browsing, even turning my phone off and on several times; but cannot enable Secure Web Browsing. Please help!

I followed the instructions for installation to the letter. I found the product I wanted in google play and began the installation process. I made it through each step to the " launch screen" , then typed in the relevant information including the product installation security code and clicked sign in. The app gives me a notice reading invalid product key? This is the same product key I used to access the download process. I cannot comprehend what went wrong?
