Webroot Mobile

Smartphone Nokia 3.1 TA-1049 DS 2/16 Android 9 ("Android ONE" version). After the recent Mobile update V.5.5.4.36995, the WSA "Persistent Status" icon to indicate security status randomly vanishes. Also, simultaneously, Android's bubble notification attached to the Webroot shortcut icon also disappears. I'm wondering if those indications also mean WSA has terminated and has ceased security monitoring. Those indications don't reappear until the WSA shortcut icon is tapped as if to restart the app. This issue is in addition to to all the other deleterious issues the phone has since the update as discussed in other Community topic threads and recent Play Store reviews. None of the problems manifested on my phone until the recent WSA Mobile update.

After recent WSA Mobile Complete update neither device will SCAN for viruses when VPN is connected, error code 1011. Never had this problem before recent WSA Mobile update 5.5.4.36995. VPN service is "Private Internet Access" with current subscription purchased before introduction of Webroot's VPN product. The recent update also caused both devices to experience the high battery drain issue described elsewhere here in another topic thread and in the Google Play Store customer reviews.

I have a Samsung Galaxy SII (Android) and downloaded Secure Anywhere and Secure Web for security protection.  The installation went fine and the security protection seems to be working well.  However, I have experienced a significant battery drain since the installation and wonder if it is related to, or caused by, the Webroot installations.   Parenthetically, I did note CatB's comments about this in her thread, but I'm wondering if anyone else has had the same experience.

If webroot browser security is switched on, it's impossible to change the displayed webpage without browser crashing (shuts down). If security is switched off then it works correctly. ios 12 on iPhone6.

It seems that one can no longer sign into PWM that is intergrated in the SecureWeb Browser. I looked in the Apple Store to see if there was an update for SWB and there is not. Does anyone have any information on this? @freydrew & @LLiddell I was able to install LastPass on my iOS without any issues so far. @BurnDaddy have you checked any of this out on your iPad?

Hello Webrooters,    Is anyone having issues with the SecureWeb Browser on your Android? I cannot get into settings when tapping in the 3 dots in right hand corner. Edited: I'm finding the User Guide for SecureWeb is not very helpful. IMO.      

User name & password are good, however, the sign-in won't accept my six# keycode.

HOW DO I CHANGE OR REMOVE ANDROID LOCK SCREEN PIN CODE

Secure Anywhere for Android beta has started giving a message on my phone that "You might be at risk - Current scan out of date" I then run a scan and the message does not go as it should bet remains. This started yesterday and prior to that all was quiet and running smoothly in the back ground. Has anyone else experienced this issue or have a valid resolution to the problem.

Hi, I installed Webroot SecurAnyhere (WSA, 5 units) on another mobile phone. The new device appeared in my WSA web console after some minutes, but with the wrong phone number +491 (760) 000-0000 (just the country code +49 is ok, as I am located in Germany). Moreover, this wrong number was set in the mobile phone as primary number! So I tried to correct the number with "edit" in the web console, but even trying many formats, on saving I always end with the error message "No valid country code / No valid phone number". I tried formats using - , paranthesis, spaces, entering the country code in the first field etc etc.... nothing worked. Astonishingly the number for another phone, defined earlier, works (e.g. I can remote lock the phone), but when I try to edit (formally) and save the same number by new, I get the same error message. --> Can anybody help me how to enter /correct phone numbers in the WSA console? I just installed the Webroot Secure Anywhere but can't tell if there is a "system optimizer". Is there one? I know there is one for the PC, but it doesn't appear to be too powerful. Please advise.

Hello! For the last week I've been experiencing my webroot notification indicating that I may be at risk since my scans are out of date. I've opened the app and triggered half a dozen scans manually and updated my license key and the issue persists. Any ideas on how I can resolve this? While I know I'm not at risk, I'd like to reset the status of this notification. Thanks! Brandin.

I'm a bit confused. I'd have a problem with trying to get into my receipt account. So I had to request an forgot my password. This time it worked, Do I have to get an app called webroot? My android cellphone (Stylo F1) is being repeatedly infected with malware. There appear to be 2 related malware "apps": "Magic" and "Settings". I have Webroot Secure Anywhere Mobile installed on this phone with all the recommended settings set. Webroot finds and identifies both "apps" and quarentines them both, but they keep on returning even after Webroot has deleted them. I have tried a clean factory reset/reinstal but the two malware apps returned immediately. After the factory reset Webroot immediately found "Magic", but not "Settings". Webroot quarantines "Magic" and asks me to delete it, which I do, but it keeps returning. Webroot identifies "Magic" as "AndroidScanner1.bad". Magic autonomously opens Google Chrome browser and links to a random website but will not allow the phone to respond to any commands thereafter. The malware called "Settings" is particularly troublesome because plays havoc with the phone's settings and it looks identical to the standard "Settings" app on the

I purchased for my mobile phone last night. I selected a PIN. This morning the PIN does not work. I can't use my phone. How do I unlock my mobile?

Sometimes when I unlock my phone my browser will automatically pull up a website called "livemobile search". I first thought it was adware so I bought a subscription to webroot but I've scanned my phone a few times and nothing came up, anyone know what's wrong? Also I'm not sure why but Firefox used to automatically pull up but now it's chrome

Hey there everyone, I'm sure this has been answered before but I can't seem to make sense of the other answers so I'm just going to post because for the life of me the steps on the older post make zero sense to me so someone please help! I have a Galaxy S8 and installed the mobile security app for Webroot but I'm getting this, shown in the picture, when I have a code that has been entered and activated. So my question is why is my phone not compatible?  

Can Passwords in the vault be updated within android? Are they updated when a password is changed in android on the Webroot Secure web? Why isn't my Mac Notebook account and my android passwords synchronising? What am I missing? I have security plus on five devices, and one Webroot Security for Android, which i downloaded in confusion whilst overseas, ever seem to use that much, not even sure which device it is on! will cancel can I get a pro-rata cancellation refund?

    When I tap the 3 vertical dots to get to settings/bookmarks, etc, the screen is dark. I can barely read any of the words. When I tap a word I can't see, it takes me to a page I can read just fine. Here are the pics.

Getting a notice that my license is expired but i just paid $14.99 on Nov 15th. I have 2 cell phones- Webroot is installed on both. The old one does not have cell service, I just use on WiFi. I paid to update on the old phone when I got the expiration notice on it. Any ideas how to fix?

Hi! Webroot detected 4 threats today. I tried removing the threats multiple times, but the app doesn't or can't. I tried removing each threat individually, but the app doesn't remove them. FYI:  MOTO G5S PLUS, ANDROID 8.1.0, system update about 2 days ago I removed Bejeweled just in case - a pity, I had more than 7.7 million points. I searched other apps, but haven't downloaded any other apps recently. Rescanned 3 times; restarted phone, rescanned, tried removing all threats, but no go. Thank you!

Why does my scan hang up at my wall paper? It then goes to complete and repays saying everything is safe.

SecureAnywhere started today telling me that Nova Launcher Prime (com.teslacoilsw.launcher.prime) is a threat. Is this a classification error?   Using a OnePlus 3 running OxygenOS 5.0.5 with Android 8.0.0.
