Webroot® SecureAnywhere™ - Complete

Hello USA;) Last night, while I was working on my PC, the screen became black then blue or even reverse (sorry for this lack of precision but it was very late and  I had drunk too much of French wine:D) and then my PC was rebooted automatically! Is it a virus ? That's the Windows error report:

Everytime I run "scan my computer" using the webroot secureanywhere complete I get "4" threats removed (see image). How can I find out which "threats" were removed. I have saved the scan log. Can somebody help me?         Thanks!!

When an .exe is "Allowed", what is the difference in the .exe file being in the various tabs in WSA which you can set to "Allow" in: 1. PC Security... Quarantine... Detection Configuration 2. Identity & Privacy... Protected Applications 3. System Tools... System Control... Control Active Processes   If I have a program that I know is currently good, but the executable can be updated in the future with new versions, and the program can check daily for data updates, where should the "allow" setting be set?   For example, I use security programs such as MS Security Essentials, SuperAntiSpyware, Malwarebytes... file editing programs Programs from PortableApps.com  

when is this going to be fixed.problem-i have 2 windows accounts on computer both administrators.i install backup and sync on one account and then log out and log into other windows account and install backup and sync on that account.when i log out and log back into 1st windows account(installed backup previously)back up and sync is not installed i have to keep repeating these steps?some months back i had a remote session with a woman from webroot about this and she seen what was happening  but i would have thought it would be fixed by now?by the way it happens on any computer i try not just one.

So I've been to the microsoft forums searching for support and I've literally tried almost every advice they could give me and the last conclusion they could come up with is that, my Webroot Secure Anywhere could have some conflict with my windows update.    While it might not be necessarily true, but I think it can be possible. I bought this laptop a few weeks ago and I've never really had any issues with it.   If this is true, is there something on the program I need to configure? I've tried disabling the security features altogether, but that didn't help.   I am running Windows 8 64 bit with a Lenovo IdeaPad N580 btw.

I have Webroot Secureanywhere Complete installed in Windows 8.    I get no place in activating Backup and Sync because when right clicking on system tray the only options I have are: Secure Webrootanywhere and Unpin this program from Taskbar.  Therefore I cannot access the Main Interface as documented in the User's Guide.  Page 6 of the User's Guide describes a work around for a missing System Tray, but not for an incomplete one.    By the way, the work around for a missing system tray involves loading it using the Windows Start command, which is notoriously missing in Windows 8.    Thank you for any assistance.   Ctmsenior

Hello Community,   I wanted to take a minute to create a thread where everyone can talk about their favorite feature.  This is a great way to get excited about the product(s) we all love.   Personal Favorites of mine are listed below by product:   Webroot SecureAnywhere Complete on Android:   Call Blocking - I've had the same phone number for years and have seen an increasing amount of telemarketing calls over the years.  Prior to getting a smart phone it was quite an annoyance for me.  Once I bought my Droid and installed Webroot I started blocking numbers I didn't recognize.  The calls have all but dropped now and I couldn't be happier about that!   Webroot SecureAnywhere Complete on PC:   System Cleaner - I love being able to clean up my system(s) with the click of a button.  It's a great way to keep my PCs running smoothly. 

Imagine my surprise when I saw the figures shown below for guests present at the Communitty!! I thought there must be some really big story afoot....or had TH just won the lottery or what!!! 😃 The figures shown are by clicking two different pages...and apparently giving three very different results, rapidly decreasing :S Anyway, could be something with browser graphics perhaps (Pale Moon) as I have been sometimes seeing a sort of pixellated graphics thing. Any opinions on this please, very strange to see :S     

I've been trying to access  the ticket system this morning, and after entering name and password, nothing happens. It never advances to the ticket pages. Is anything going on with it?

Hi I have noted twice that the padlock on the Webroot icon in the system tray didn't appear when I'm on Internet !   This occurs only on my office PC but not at home.  

Seriously while webroot complete was installed and running I just removed 148 spyware objects. My computer had been getting really slow, I noticed a couple new toolbars on IE and thats when I started scanning with webroot nothing came up then I scanned with malwarebytes and nothing I decided to give Spybot S&D a try and ESET and that's when I found out the extent of it.   Even after removing 148 Various Spyware and Viruses. It ended up that I had to completely reset my entire Windows 8 computer which has been set up less than a year. I am pretty pist off right now because I can't trust webroot with the computer yet I already paid up for another year on this computer But I wont risk having to reset again hours of work and time lost already not to mention work that I did not get a chance to back up yet.    

I have used the Password Manager quite a bit.. and I really enjoy it.  I have also entered a Form profile, which is very handy to say the least.  I am not sure, however, if there might be a small glitch in the Form Fill function.  The below image is a form I use regularly.  All of the data auto fills correctly EXCEPT for the State... it never fills and I have to manually set it.   I do note that the form itself is not a standard format in that it asks for the Zip Code and Country BEFORE the State.  This is the only form I have encountered in which it fails to fill in the State.  Is is possible that the non-standard order of the form fields is the reason that this happens on this form?  

Sorry if this is a dead horse, but I cannot find an answer to this.   After running Webroot's System Analyzer, one of the things it shows is "Updates are available for your system and have not been installed".   My question is, WHAT updates is it talking about? I checked Windows update and only see three optional updates. Is it talking about those? Even if it is, am I missing somewhere that shows what updates it's telling me about?   I checked the full report and see no mention of updates at all anywhere in the log.   I hope this analyzer becomes more robust in its reporting in the future. It's a nice addition to the security suite.  

A few times when I tried to start up my PC I got a black screen with a cursor in the middle instead of my log in screen. The third time this happened I started pressing buttons on my keyboard. While I was fiddling with the F buttons, mainly F1 to F4, and the print screen, scroll lock, and pause/break buttons, my PC started working again, Why?

Hi there peeps!   Could anyone out there tell me how I can find out just how much time I've actually got left till my Webroot Secure Anywhere Complete package runs out?  It's been showing that I've got 20 days left since Christmas but I've been using every day, all day and it hasn't come down!  I've a feeling that I'm very close but don't know when I should install another Antivirus...  Help!!,

Hello all Webroot forum members/moderators,        Hey there, I had a few questions about the shredder option in WSA Complete and Antivirus:   1.  In the Complete edition, there is an option to change # of passes so I tried a longer 3 write overwrite but it seemed to shred the files at the same quick speed as the default which seemed strange.  Wondered if I need ed to change another setting?   2.  Will it still be available much longer in the right click drop down menu of just the Antivirus edition?  I looked at the product comparisons and didn't see it listed in the Antivirus so I wasn't sure.     Thank you for your patience and greetings again!   -tookerjeff  🙂

when i try to log into my toolbar it says this in red: "your subscription has expired. renew now to continue accessing password management." i renewed my subscription before the time was up a few months ago. it is good for another 365 days from today. my subscription is good for another year but my toolbar doesn't realize this. i uninstalled it and reinstalled using toolbarfix.exe, but it still says the same thing. How can I fix this thing?? Thanks!

Hi.  Because I had to clean up a couple of malware infections on my teenager's PC last year, I swtiched AV suppliers after reading PC Mag's reviews.   I decided that since WebRoot SecureAnywhere plays nice with other products to couple Norton 360 together with WebRoot SA as a two layer defense for that teenage PC.  Thus far, I can report good results as he's said WebRoot has blocked at least 2 downloads of game mods which infected his buddies systems.   I also excluded webroot from Norton 360 and vice versa and followed the pages posted about tuning webroot.   http://malwaretips.com/Thread-How-to-setup-Webroot-SA-alongside-another-Antivirus   However, periodically (about every week or two)  Norton 360 issues a message pop-up saying it has detected an incompatible product and do you want to remove it.

I called to my Virgin Mobile phone provider and ask them what to do if my phone became slow, and after I tried to re-activate it I lost Internet access. They established my access back, but recommended me 'FACTORY DEFAULT RESET". I did it yesteday, but I got the same negative effect. I could not log in my GooglePlay or Market for a half day. After I was experienced the problem to log in for Acivate Webroot. When I got activated it, I found that the SCAN works slow or frozen. I noticed that it works only if I cry losing my temper. I do not want be nerves, and dyeing from permanent stress, which shortening my life. I try to open the "About" tab to reset the updates or check path.It does not work after I reinstalled Webroot last time a couple months ago. Eventually, I desided write tech support if somebody may help me with the question what make the phone slow or limited for use.    My version is Webroot SecureAnywhere Mobile Premier 3.3.0.5546; Definition set 519.

Yesterday I installed Webroot Complete for Mac for the first time. I don't have any other anti-virus software. The keycode works fine and everything. When it went to do it's initial scan it had everything at zeros but the time. I decided to leave it and later that night it had run seven hours without scanning anything. I double checked everything in the program and didn't see any issues, tried some restarts, and tried another scan this morning with the same issue.   Should I try a reinstall or does anyone know a solution to this issue? A little worried I have this program up and running but it isn't able to do what it is designed to do.
