Webroot® SecureAnywhere™ - Complete

I read in annother posting on the community site that someone had found an issue with the shutdown procedure on pcs after installing webroot. I, too, have that "issue", but although it is a bit of an annoyance sometimes, it is not really an issue for me.    I was, however, wondering if there has been any "resolution", or "fix" as it were, to this issue. If so, it would be nice to know. If not, again, it is not anything with which I am overly concerned. Merely curious.

I jus bought essentials..have no mobile devices...is it worth it to upgrade to complete? Tom

i believe webroot uses sugarsync as backup and i know sugarsync syncs to pc's and phones,does wsa complete also sync to phones?if so how?if not maybe a future idea.

I use webroot complete today my compute basically froze, I had to hit the power button to shut it down. On restart it would not  show desktop but the webroot pop up showed up saying im secure. I went into safe mode trying to figure out what was wrong and after trying many things I decided to uninstall wbroot and see. After I uninstalled restarted computer and it startted right up don't know if it was a bug or a glitch but I have reinstalled complete again and I am hoping it doesn't happen again.I am using windows 7 64 bit webroot secureanywhere complete and malwarebytes free. I ran a webroot scan, malwarebytes full scan, and a hitmanpro on demand scan all came up clean.

Hello,   I'm a little confused about whether synched files are securely backed up.  Since all synched files are altered when a change is made, does that mean if a file is deleted, even if by mistake, it will be deleted on synched computers and online?  Or if a computer breaks down and has to be reformatted, are the synched files online removed as well.   I assume synched files are protected even if not on the Web archive as this would defeat the value of synching, but I've not been able to find this topic on Webroot documentation.   Thanks.

Hi there   I was wondering if there is any way to disable or prevent WRSyncManager.exe from running?   I cannot find a way, either overtly or view the 'back door', to prevent this .exe from running   Now, before the storm of questions as to why I would want to do so, that it defeats the whole object of the Backup & Sync functionality, etc., please just accept that I have my own, considered reasons for asking/wanting to, and that I do not want to start a polemic surrounding the merits or not of these reasons, but rather get answers to my question so that if necessary I can lodge a formal request for the introduction of this fucntionality to be considered for addition to a future version.   I , personally,  think that it would be good to have such a configuration option, perhaps in Settings or a slider at the top of the Backup & Sync panel, to allow the user to disable or enable (enabled is suggested as the default) this functionali

i mentioned this in the wsa forum on wilders forum but thought i would put it here also. when installing wsa complete and then installing the toolbar/password manager it installs in firefox fine on the admin account(win 7 64&32) but when i go to the standard account its not in firefox?hope this gets fixed someday.

As you can see from the post I made about WSA discounted prices, I could get WSA Complete for $39.99   http://community.webroot.com/t5/Webroot-SecureAnywhere-Complete/Discount-Prices-On-Webroot-SecureAnywhere-Complete/td-p/622    I am running WSA Essentials and I like it. I do not need all the add-ons that Complete has. (Password, Android & iOS protection). I can use the extra online storage. For password protection I have been using RoboForm for the last 5 or so years. The Military Bases only sells Complete. If I bought WSA Complete can I disable the add-ons, mainly password protection so it does not interfere with RoboForm?

As long as you have the latest version of SecureAnywhere installed, the Webroot Toolbar is fully compatible with Firefox 9 and above.  If you still do not see the Webroot Toolbar in Firefox there are steps you can take to restore the toolbar.
