my webroot seems to be for windows, but I need it for my iMac. What should I do to fix this???

About 2 weeks ago I noticed my computer running slower than normal. I opened task manager and saw there were multiple copies of dllhost.exe Surrogate COM running and using a lot of system resources. There seems to be some correlation to rundll.exe because there have been circumstances where they are both running the same number of instances according to Webroot.   I looked around on line and learned that there are a couple of Trojans and rootkits that utilize Surrogate COM to relay data back to the folks who plant the malware in the system. Your software doesn't show any issues. How can I fix this?   Thanks...

I loaded the anti-virus software successfully on my PC, but when trying to load on my Mac it seems to be stuck in a loop and I can't do anything.....please someone help......Thanks Chrissy

Recently, I haven't been able to install Apps that I own in Windows 8.1.  Could Webroot prevent me from doing it?

Recently when Windows has updates that require me to restart my PC, when I log in the green "Webroot" box doesn't pop up in the bottom right corner of my screen and if I open task manager I see two "wruninstall" (or whatever the webroot uninstall file name is) running but then they go away after a few seconds. After this happens Webroot still opens and runs fine but I'm curious why it would do something like that.

I have CryptoWall and the scan doesn't delete it.  If I try to use a Windows scan it won;t let me download.  Says "Security won't allow file to download"

I recently had the Geek Squad remove a nasty Trojan horse virus that encrypted my files. After I got my computer back I'm now having trouble downloading from many web sites - but not all. How can I reset my security settings back to the way they were before the virus hit?

I recently made a purchase financed by Chase Bank. Because of the data breach information posted on Yego Piatnitski's blog on Oct. 6, 2014, I'm reluctant to set up an online account with Chase to make my payments. Is my concern justified?

My internet is slow and at&t says it is because webroot scans everything 3 times before it opens.  Can I change the setting on this?

Webroot identifies threats.  I request they be removed.   After they are, Webroot requests permission to reboot my PC.  Permission is given, PC reboots, when I reopen Webroot, it goes through the same process and the same threats are still idenified.

I can't get rid of a pop up saying I have a serious problem.  webroot does not eliminate the issue.  it claims it's a serious trogan infecting my whole system, and that i have no security protection.

Yesterday my Oculus Rift DK2 showed up. I was pretty excited. I'd even had a dream the night before, about setting it up and playing with it. Now the reality was in front of me.   I opened up the box and put everything together. If you thought your computer didn't have enough cables, then the Rift has the solution for you.
