Hey, I am currently trialing Webroot Endpoint and ran in to a problem on one of the machines.   It is a tablet based on the AMD Brazos CPU (Dual core 1GHZ).  Windows 8 RTM.   After installing Webroot it goes to the internet to do the initial scan which seems to time out and eventually freeze the machine. It says it has scanned 3 items by the time the machine becomes unusable.   Does Webroot have any known incompatibilities? Volume Shadow Copy is disabled, is that a problem?

I used Window Washer for many years. A while ago I installed Secure Anywhere, then I installed Norton 360 Primier. My SecureAnywhere subscription has now expired and I'm considering renewing. What I want in a product is something which will do the same functions as the old Window Washer did - specifically overwrite unused portions of my hard drive. Does SecureAnywhere do this? If not, does Webroot have a product which does?

I renewed my subscription last night, but for some reason the program still says I haven't renewed.  I already went through the steps from the SecureAnywhere web site and I still have the same problem.  NOW WHAT?!?!?!

I just did a system recovery and reinstalled my software. I love it, I also did an upgrade but am now having error messages pop up.

Today marks the beginning of November, and a great time to look back on October.  The Giants won the series, we had our first snow here in Colorado, and the Webroot office is packed full of leftover Halloween candy (but not for long).    I don't know how everyone else spent Halloween last night, but I was handing out candy to trick-or-treaters.  As it happens, it looks like I've got some more treats to give out today, but they aren't of the edible variety.   Congratulations to our top kudoed users in October!  Excluding Webroot employees, the top kudoed users are: 1. TripleHelix at 50 2. ProTruckDriver at 40 3.

Hey all,  I have been using Microsoft Security Essentials on my home computers but have recently put in a Windows Server 2012 Essentials and need AV on that.   After doing some research and free trials Webroot looks great.   My only problem is determining which product suits me best. What I have: Server - Hyper-V Server 2012  2 x Virtual Machines: Server 2012 Essentials and Windows 8    Physical machines 3 x Windows 8 1 x windows 7   Mobile: 2 x Android   I deally I would like everything covered, discounting the Hyper-V host I would need 6 Windows licenses and 2 mobile. That doesn't really fit in to any product from what I can see.   I could get 2 x Complete home packs for a total of 10 licenses. Then I have any future VM or devices covered. I am open to the Business version as well as I presume it has an Admin Console where I can manage the other computers.

I just ran a system Clean Up from the client interface. This free'd up a whopping 890Mb on a virtually brand new machine. This is great. BUT, I COULD schedule this feature via the client interface, BUT, I'm centrally managed and it tells me so. This must be done centrally, where in the central console can I configure this?! I can't see it and the documentation doesn't state.    Thanks again, loving your product!   Davie

Used to have window washer which was great and that product is no longer going to be supported so went to Secure Anywhere which does not clean the browsing history.  Wish SA would just do it!!

I just read about the "webhp" virus for Chrome after noticing that phrase in my omnibox. I want to know if it is real, what type of threat it is to my browsing, and most importantly why my Secure Anywhere Complete didn't catch or remove it when I scan. It's pretty upsetting that a virus can exist on my computer after I bought this product. Can anyone help alleviate my concerns or tell me what I can do? Please.

I discovered Webroot by sheer accident.  I have been a Norton user for many years.   About a week ago I upgraded to Norton 360 Premier.  With Norton, I am all too familiar with the amount of time it takes to complete routines, such as scans and backups, but I do consider it to be good software.   While doing some research for the best internet security programs (I did a search on Cnet) I came across Webroot.  The contrast between Norton and Webroot intrigued me, so I purchased Webroot Secure Anywhere Complete.  I wanted to compare the differences between the Norton and Webroot software.  Much to my surprise, I learned that I could run Norton and Webroot on the same machine without creating conflicts.  So, that's precisely what I did ...
