Need to get a refund . Ordered directly from Webroot via Amazon. Whats is the process ? Not happy with Webroot any longer. Way to many issues and problems with 2020 renewal. Past years have been great this time its a no go. Time is of the essence.    

In the morning, working on a website , I receive an alert saying my PC was infected and I would have to phone a number to a security platform. I just shudown and start Webroot to look for any problem. Webroot start analysis but nothing was found  and my PC seems to work normaly. Can I be sure that it was a false alert ? 

I am in a recurring loop!   I can only log in once!!!   Then I have to go through with ‘I lost my password’ and resetting it.   Soon as I log out - that’s it! I am locked out AGAIN!!!   This is bloody nuts!!!

Are remaining Webroot subscription days added onto a new Webroot cd install?

Do we have to create an account for our LastPass password manager every time we renew our Subscription? I have entered my keycode using the little gear on the right of the “My Account” but when I go to my password in my console it shows a yellow fade with an exclamation mark on Password manager?

a background edition of mcafee reports a ‘web threat’ on my machine. can i reasonably delete the other antivrus and trust webroot to catch the same threat and deal with it?

So I am responsible for deploying Webroot for all of our client machines, and have been using Webroot for a while now; and I noticed that the behaviour of each system that receives the installation package has an inconsistent result.   This happens quite a bit; example: we deploy it to 40 machines, maybe 18-28 give or take actually manage to check-in while the others have it installed, but don’t check in for whatever reason. I understand a previous vendor also using Webroot can be a factor in some cases, but not always.   Anyways, any way to guarantee a successful install+check-in? I’ve tried the -poll flag against wrsa.exe, but that does not appear to really do anything. Am I missing something here? Just trying to automate my processes involving webroot. Any new command-line flags being mentioned would be greatly appreciated as well. Cheers

I recently created an application with a tool I have been using for years. HTML Executable (by G.D.G. Software) is a tool used to create eBooks or stand-alone applications from HTML code.   The application that I created was a compilation of HTML web pages that comprised an eBook. After creating the application, I code signed it. Afterward, I submitted it to www.virustotal.com, where it passed with flying colors.   However, during my testing of the application, I was shocked to see my anti-virus (Webroot) flag the application that I created as a Trojan Horse. I have since reached out to Webroot several times over the past couple of days and received no response whatsoever.

Does the new and increase in machine learning/behavior product models replace HIDS and HIPS?  Havent seen much on this topic and we just passed our HIPAA compliance assessment.  The assessor did bring up HIDS and HIPS for laptops. 

Multiple Computers Domain environment all Windows 10 Pro 1909 Office 365 12430.20184 Users report that when changing between Word/Excel /Outlook screens grey out and  displays not responding. A hard reset is required, Windows 7 computers not effected. When Webroot disabled no issues.

Windows Update wiped my hard drive this week. I have sent 2 messages to Webroot on the 6th, 7th and today. The response in the past has been almost immediate, however, I have had a response to date. I didn’t call the number because of such quick response, however, this is Saturday and the office is closed until Monday. Is this common?

For some reason I can not reset my password using "forgotton password" ... Response is to check email for link but I never recieve an email ...not in my junk or spam folders ... and the e mail address used is active and works.

I have a number (866-324-8966).  I believe it was put there when I first bought webroot a couple months ago?  Did a scammer put it there and how do I get it off?  Or Is it nothing to worry about and helpful for me?

Windows 7 users have been reporting that they are receiving a popup message that reads "You don't have permission to shut down this computer" every time they attempt to shut down or reboot their systems. The cause of the bug remains unknown at the time of writing. For the past two days, users have been scratching their heads for solutions around the problem. The good news is that they've found at least least one temporary workaround and one unofficial fix to resolve the issue.
