Hello and greetings from Kuching. I am newbie and just downloaded trial of WA. Previously I have been using Bitdefender and used to doing online banking in the SafePay mode.  Now with WA and with no visual 'safe zone' as such I am wondering how I know my online banking activity is safe. Would appreciate any info to help please. Thanks.

I'm a retired nerd...   Glad to be part of this group.   I  got my first computer in 1982, a Coleco Adam. Boy was I cool! I've had my nose deep inside a computer ever since. My dad, who was a mainframe computer operator for the US Airforce, retired about the same time I got interested. Recently I bought a new WSA license instead of renewing my old one. When I purchased my laptop a little over a year ago, I purchased WSA Plus thru Best Buy. To avoid having my credit card info on file, I chose to buy a new keycode. The process can be very smooth if you know in advance certain things. I did contact support as my 1st step was checking in the Webroot KB Adding a Keycode into a Console Support did give me instructions to add the new keycode to my existing console netc,, Eventually everything did work. Hi guys! It's Tyrene, me. You will see me via a very long way since I truly don't understand really much about company however. I'm not going to get discouraged and I am expecting to learn a whole lot here. I actually can not manage to pay for somebody to to operate my company, although I have got a company support that individuals are willing to pay me for. Here are something that I'm searching for help with and I realize that I will not be able to find help with everything all in one place so I'm joining lots of little business forums centered on a listing that I was given by my uncle. How much bookkeeping am I going to need before I get in too deep with taxation as well as other business issues such as that to master? Right now I'm simply gathering check or money. Obviously like I could take bank card payments, I'd like to appear, but does not that cost money? Yesterday, a full screen pop up appeared on my screen with porn pictures.  The audio said I had been attacked by a virus and I needed to take action.  I quickly turned off my computer.   This is the first time I have ever experienced anything like this.  I haven't even visited a porn site.  So why would I receive a porn related pop up?   I manually scanned my computer using Webroot and it did not report a virus.   Why did this happen?

I just purchased a new PC with Window 10. I don't know how to get my webroot icon on my desktop.

Have I been hacked? I have had Webroot for almost 10 years.  I am extremely careful on the internet.  I have all security settings high and program a full scan every morning.  In all this time only one threat (2015) has ever been detected—and quickly quarantined. I also automatically allow Webroot to keep me up to date on treats. just recently my peer responded to an email that I sent (to a network of aprox 45 others) stating: '"You've been hacked!" I immediately looked at my scan history and it still indicates only one threat (from 2015).  I also rescanned (deep). Nothing. He refused to tell me what the 'hack' was—only that his email indicated that my post had "malicious malware" but—understandably—had no intentions of opening it for any 'details'.  Yet—no other recipients of the same post  see anything.  Many, whom also have software that scans all their incoming mail.  Where am I going wrong here? I'm a frequent advertiser on Facebook and get/got many mails from em.facebookmail.comregarding advertising tips etc...   The first one I received from them is getting blocked. I can't recall my previous interaction so not sure if I've always been a phish victim or not. Any info on this please?   Thanks!

New subscriber to Webroot Antivirus.  First few times after installation I noticed green checkmarks in a Google search meaning, I assume, they were Webroot approved.  This morning I noticed these checkmarks not appearing.  Is it dangerous to click on these?

Hello everyone. I feel somewhat overwhelmed as this community seems to be a bit "complicated" to get around in but perhaps with time I can advance enough to find my way around Lol. I will say that I have used WSAC for the past 3 yrs or so and it is the best AV I have ever used. Everything I have ever read about the low resources used and being quite in the background and not interfering with my pc use is absolutely true. I highly reccomend this to all my friends and family and those that have taken my advice are not sorry. I hope to learn on this site as I am far from being a geek haha. Anyway, nice to be here.

I am having trouble linking my account to my existing version of Webroot I already have installed on my system. If you can help me with this issue, please do.

On my iMac, Webroot has been running for nearly 100 hours and has has detected 134 threats. It is still running. Why all of a sudden ? Has it not been doing its scheduled scans for a while? Is this normal ? Has it been taken over by malware or a virus ?

Hi I am Lynne I am not a computer wiz just use it for pleasure.  I had Webroot installed but my computer started acting weird and kicking me out of stuff so I rebooted it and like before I had to reinstall Webroot. This time webroot downloaded and shows up on my desktop but it isn't in my add ons nor is it on the control panel and it was before and was enabled. I am wondering if this can be remidied.

hello I'm an old gamer/pc hardware background. I'm not very keen on ' Free Games" except I play Warthunder. english not my first language but i'll try my best and I'm sure you will try to get the exact flavor of what i'm gonna post in the next days.   try to think and balance if Webroot is the right tool for me, using 14 day licence will stay there, I guess Webroot help in this days is,let's say, vital . Don't like remote and cloud since I'm using a PC (which stand for personal computer). I have nothing to hide but privacy should remain private at least a part of it.   Trying to find a good security even if is a combination of 2. Using win 7/64 OS.
