I downloaded the webroot app on my Google Pixel 4a(5G) running Andoird 13 I go to create an account but it wants a keycode to create an account. How do I get a keycode before creating an account. Typically software works like this… Create account → Purchase Product → Get keycode → Enter keycode → Activate product. This app is asking me for what normally happens in step four but wants it in step one before I even have an account. Where do I get this keycode to create an account? There are no instructions in the app.

 but will auto allow in 115 sec.How do I disable this??? If I am not in front of PC , I may have an “untrusted” connecting automatically to internet after 115se.

I have had a Webroot account for years, and I can no longer find my password.  I have just purchased new computers and want to add them to my account and delete old computers.  Plus, I suspect I may have multiple accounts linked to an old email address that we no longer use.  How can I find out?

I purchased one Dell laptop from Best Buy, which allows me to use Webroot AV for free for 6 months. Why I have no way to install the software in my laptop permanently? I can only be using the Webroot tool every time when I open the webpage and then it pop-outs. Next time I have to repeat the same procedure when I want it. Please let me know why and the way to solve this issue.Appreciate your kindly assistance.Best regards,Frank Song

I cannot open a support ticket. It asks me to log in, then it asks me for my personal security zone, then I get redirected to a blank page. The product is not working, and there’s no way to get help to fix it!!!

Does webroot vpn protect the entire attached wifi? Or is it specific to the device where it is installed?

The Optimizer program runs all the time and leaves many message blocks on my computer that have to be deleted, saying the program is being run and will finish shortly but it never does. I cannot get it to stop this  even though I removed Webroot from my computer and reinstalled it. I am using Windows 10 and it is driving me crazy.

I have License for 5 devices.  When I try to add my laptop to the list, I get a message to log out of Wifi Security on one of my devices.  I have knowledge of 4 devices that are covered, but not 5.  How do I identify the 5th device I would like to disable and switch to my laptop.  I question whether ir is one of the two machines I have had to replace in the last 5 months.

Webroot mobile used to have a security app and a browser app.  I never used the browser since everything I have is synced to Vivladi.  Webroor security was alwys running on my phone.  Now it appears that the security and the browser have been merged into one app and my android phone is only secure when I use the Webroot Browser. Since everything I have is synced to Vivaldi, I don’t want the Webroot browser.  Now this once useful app is useless.  Since Webroot was gobbled up by Carbonite it has ceased to be what it once was.  After over ten years when my subscription expires I will sadly being saying good bye to Webroot. 

After installing the MacOS Big Sur Public Beta ok, I restarted and went back to Catalina, until I had some free time to do some beta testing.The  first “Webroot Secure Anywhere” scan reported it had found a threat it called MacOS.Lazarus.l.r, at the following location./Volumes/MacBigSirBeta — Data/Library/Apple/System/Library/CoreServices/MRT.app/Contents/MacOS/MRTIs this malware or a virus, or has the virus security S/W picked it up in error?I know there is a development too called Lazarus, and that the MRT app is Apple’s  Malware Removal Tool, but wasn’t sure why Webroot flagged it as a threat.

I have to use Metasploit for a class I am taking on Cybersecurity, is there a way to exclude Metasploit and its framework from webroot? I checked all the ALLOW options I could find, it still flags them as bad. It is SecureAnywhere CE 22.3. Appreciate suggestions to get these resolved.

How to Remove people who are connected with my wifi and there are some pets site i can’t reach but while using mobile data i can easily access those pets sites what would be the reason behind this.

I was looking in the Event Viewer and I saw a twistee labeled Audit Failure. I didn’t remember seeing that one before, so I opened it up and it appears to be referencing a Webroot file.Code integrity determined that the image hash of a file is not valid.  The file could be corrupt due to unauthorized modification or the invalid hash could indicate a potential disk device error.File Name:    \Device\HarddiskVolume5\ProgramData\WRData\e30968e.dat    So what does this mean? Is it a concern?I’m not sure what HardiskVolume5 is. I presume this the C drive. But the curious thing is I don’t find a file named e30968e.dat under the ProgramData\WRData folder.Thanks

I received an e-mail to a rarely used account from Sophoss with an embedded image of an invoice stating they received my “online” payment along with a phone number. I called they claimed they received payment by check, het nothing showed in my accounts supposedly from for antivirus subscription? I also rec'd an email from myself stating my WebRoot subscription renewal will be $374.00 and had Geek Squad logo, etc. When I called BB GS they had no knowledge of what I was talking about. I presumed the GS e-mail was a scam as it did not have my new key code.  WebRoot CS suggested I contact BB GS specifically for WedRoot support. Given they did not ask for any account or credit card info. and nothing has hit my accounts or credit cards, I cannot take any more action. Appreciate any feedback. 

Is it possible that someone is messing my Wi Fi on purpose to disturb my business. How can i save it and identify the culprit. I am a newbie.

I can’t verify my email address to add a key code in. I have checked spam folder, made sure I entered the email correctly and tried to resend the email multiple times and I still receive nothing. I’m not sure how to fix this.

I have another account, (Snip) Ever since y’all included Carbonite, I have had nothing but issues with my passwords and my dashboard. NOW I am LOCKED out of my Webroot and can’t get in there. It even changed my password to the community board. I have tried the “Forgot Password” a few times and now it doesn’t even respond, probably thinking I’m someone else trying to hack into my account. i was attempting to back up my computer thru time machine ( have an apple mac) and i was running the backup while webroot scanned my computer it thought that my san disc with files on it was a threat why is that
