Webroot Mobile

Why does Webroot have a SecureAnywhere Complete App for IOS? There are only 2 apps available which are SecureWeb and SecureSync. My brother who has an android phone has both of those plus a SecureAnywhere Complete app where he is able to block numbers, messages, scan his phone for threats. I can't do that or havent found out how on my iphone. SecureWeb and SecureSync are just simple apps where I can sync photos, music, and safe browsing. Thats it. I want the SecureAnywhere Complete app like android. Is this possible?

Hello,   I changed the SIM card in my phone, and now it's locked and I can't unlock it even when I changed my password and typed in a new one. I'm on vacation overseas and really need for my phone to work. Is there any way someone could help me if I provide my account info? Thanks!   Laura

I have an unrooted Motorola Droid phone with Android 2.2.3 on it.  I have had Webroot Security & Antivirus installed on it for approx 6 months.  I was using the call & SMS blocking feature and had multiple numbers entered to be blocked.  The app had been blocking text and MMS messages from these numbers until the last update.  After the last update the app no longer blocked text and MMS messages from the selected numbers.  I am not sure if it was blocking phone calls or not since then since I have not received any phone calls from the numbers.  I have tried reentering the numbers and reinstalling the app without any success.   Any thoughts or suggestions on how to get this feature working again as this was one of the main reason I installed this product to start with?

So I upgraded to the "complete" version so that i could have the mobile option to install it on my droid, little problem though, now i am incomplete! i downloaded the three apps, tried to launch them all, one by one and it asks me for e-mail, password and key code, i did input all of those just to encounter the following message: " Error  Account creation failed. the license check server returned an invalid response.   Raw Error: License check failed due to too many activations. Response code 7"   Has anyone had the same problem? and if so please tell me how you fixed. thanks much!!   PS by the way i didn't activate anything "too many times" at all.   Thanks again!!   ---------- (edit for subject line - jim)

I was given a 1-year license on a promotional card, but is having difficulty scanning the barcode with my Samsung Galaxy Mini Android. How can I install this 1 year license on the unit?

Okay, i just bought my ASUS Transformer Prime and i bought the Webroot 1 year security system , the problem is, i followed the instruction but it didnt lead me anywhere, so i tried and tried, but no luck....so how do i activate my webroot security using my keycode that i bought? Thanks, Roi

Question why is it that your mobile antivirus does not scan inside zip files like most other mobile antivirus?

i bought a mobile security from Best Buy tonight & i cannot get it registered now  ...  i followed the directions inside & now i am registered for the free version but i paid for the full version  ...  how do i now register my full version ?

I'm very happy with my webroot secureanywhere complete in my PC, which detected and removed threats that no other antivirus could. However, I can't log in in my Samsung Android smartphone. There's always a Mail/password error massage, though they are right. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app (WR complete version) with no results. Would you please help me? Thanks.

Hi, just introducing myself because I need to post something of concern :)   probably the wrong thread, but .... I'm a newbie here.   What I wanted to say is: My phone got stolen in Barcelona last week, so I remotely locked it, assuming it is safe now. However::::::::::::   I got a new phone, installed Webroot on it, and locked it to test the feature.   I'm scared now: the phone did mention it was locked, but....... I was still able to access the phone completely because the lock screen did not cover the menu-bar.   Opened task manager...killed the lock-screen, and it was not locked at all anmore.... 3 second's worth of work.   Should I worry now, or does something need to be fixed?   Jeroen.   Galaxy tab 7.7 running spb shell 3d on Android 3.2 **edited to place in proper forum and to provide useful subject**

Is SecureAnywhere compatible with Android 4.0 ICS?  I just upgraded to an HTC One X, and installed SecureAnywhere.  The antivirus ran fine, and from mobile.webroot.com  I can see the phone registered and providing information (like last scan, last definitions update, etc.) but the lost device protection doesn't work.  I turned it on in the app, and it shows as on in the website, yet under "Available Device Actions" in the "Lost Device Protection" tab of mobile.webroot.com, nothing shows up.  Also, as I send SMS messages to the phone (lock pwd, locate pwd, etc.) they just go through as a regular text message ...

Please i have put a new sim on my phone and now my phone is locked, but the big problem is my phone is not online so the command i send is not responding. please what else can i do Thank you

I read that when you need to use the Scream feature to find your phone in the house you need to send your phone an SMS. How do you send your phone an SMS if it's lost and you cant make an SMS?

Phokus from team eos development here. Please do something about the data contained in the logs and perhaps consider truncating some of the data placed into those logs (logcat). Viewing logs is amassive security problem in android right now and there are pwd hashes in said logs.

I installed the mobile app on my ipod touch and new ipad3. The little key with the red x for login does not ever ever let me login. I installed this on my ipod months ago and got so frustrated trying to login i deleted the app. I figued it was meant for ipad tyoe device. still i cannot log in. i can go to my desktop pc and login just fine, what gives?   thanks

I currently switched to Webroot's Anywhere Essentials for my laptop(s), and have the chance to upgrade to the Complete.  It claims to offer the same protection for my tablet.  I'm aware that not all tablets have the same apps available made to them, so I'm asking Webroot's Complete can be used on my Nook?   thank you.

I have read the other posts and watched the how to video but they do not cover my problem.  My control panel says I need to activate. When I do it says I already have but my mobile does not show as being protected. The green tick shows in SecureWeb. What else am I supposed to do.

If I have webroot security premier licensed for one year and have to reinstall it after I uninstalled, I have to pay again?

I've logged in before and in fact have it set up on another phone, but when I try to log in to my new galaxy nexus with the correct email, password, and keycode its giving me an error saying "Login failed. The email or password you entered is incorrect." I have a rooted device and when I restore the app from my old device it's logged in and everything in the app is working, except the mywebrootanywhere.com site doesn't show my current device. So I uninstalled it and am trying to install it and login, when it's giving me this error. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I need Help! i have active attakers on my phone and pc they spread through wifi.  I can't do a scan on my phone without it stoping halfway through and then jumping to compleat. they have placed programs on my phone that kill any app they don't like when I try to run it.  My phone is an androin captivate rooted I switched from my infuse when I thougth thought root might help. It did for a while then they started playing hardball,  I can't turn up my ringtone volume so i miss call's, T they would not let me type in my compleat email address on the phone so I could  not log into these forums.  please HELP
