Webroot Mobile

A few months ago I purchased Secure Anywhere Essentials as I did not have a smart phone.  Well, now I do and I can't upgrade to the mobile app via the website.  When I click on Mobile app upgrade, I go to the cofigurator site which says I already have Secure Anywhere Complete and only gives me the option to increase backup webspace.  I tried installing the Mobile Secure Anywhere complete app on my Droid phone and it installs, but when I get to the login keycode, It says I don't have the right keycode.  I took it straight out of the software.  What can I do to upgrade so I can protect my new smartphone?

I have SecureAnywhere Complete.  I am trying to use the password management on my ios devices and having some trouble.   It seems that it works okay on sites that I have only 1 login/password saved.  However, on sites that I might have more than 1 login/password saved (for example, if it's a site that both my husband and I have our own accounts), then sometimes there is just a password but no username (and it's not clear which password it is), sometimes there is no password or username, and sometimes there is a password and username, but no ability to change to the other username/password.    How can I access both of the passwords and usernames as I can on the computer version?    Thanks.

Ok, I had a few issues getting secure anywhere complete keycode sorted - this is now done.   I managed to install SecureAnywhere Complete android app onto my Galaxy Ace 2, I  check MyWebroot, and the device was listed but showing as having 8 issues that need resolving.   I look on the device, and it says there are no issues, however the webroot icon is not showing up in the notification area at the top of the screen.   So I think I will try uninstalling and re-installing the app, it asks for a password - I enter the password I used to install the app and to log into myWebroot, and it is not accepted. I check the "Subscription Active" link on the app, and the correct keycode is listed, but no email address.   When I log back into MyWebroot, the Ace 2 is no longer listed.   So, the phone has webroot installed but seemingly not working properly, but I cannot remove the app to reinstall it because it appears the lack of

Is there a limit on how many phones can be used under the Webroot Secure Anywhere Complete program? I know you get three PC codes, does a Android phone count as one of the three?

Webroot SecureAnywhere Mobile found 1 threat today:   Mobile tracker com.andriod.settings.mt   It is however unable to remove it.   Is there anyway to tell if this is a real threat or a false positive. If it is a threat how would I remove it without wiping the phone.   Running Samsung Galaxy S2 Andriod 4.0.3.   Thanks

I have my android phone registered with webroot but I originally had my Motorola Xoom tablet installed with webroot but it doesnt show up on my webroot account.   I have now lost my Tablet and i believe I can lock it remotely and locate it using webroot. Can anyone help?

I know you probably been there and done that with my issue.  I purchased the Webroot Security for my Samsung Galaxy 4-5 months ago, recently purchased new HTC Android phone.  I have the Webroot on my new android, would like it deactivated on my Samsung so I can give the phone to my sister.  Can you help me with this?  Thanks Much!

I just upgraded to the Webroot Complete this afternoon. I have been trying to get it setup on my phone all afternoon. I keep putting in the user name and password and keep getting message that "Login Failure"......   I've read the forums but have been unsuccessfull with getting a fix for this.

My problem is that I have a new phone and do not know the premium key for my existing account on old phone. I have read up on how to register...I just dont know my key. Please help me! Thank you very much for your time!

Whenever Webroot checks a new or updated download it gives an audible notification. How can I change or eliminate that audible notification? This is the only application that doesn't have this option.

SecureWeb is now available from Google Play for free!  Our stand-alone web browser had formerly been available on iOS devices for free already, and it's now available on Android as well.   If you already have Webroot SecureAnywhere Complete installed on your Android, this is the same web browser you already have, so you don't need to download it again.  Complete users have the extra benefit of being able to use the password manager.   So if you have an Android, and you don't already have the SecureWeb browser with an existing Complete subscription, check it out, and let us know what you think!

I clicked on a link to a web survey (on google docs) and when I used the standard browser in android, Webroot popped up and said that the page might contain malware or spam and wanted to know if I wanted to continue.   When I tried the same link with either the Dolphin or Firefox browsers, I expected to get the same message from Webroot.  Much to my disappointment, Webroot did not pop anything up with either of these browsers, so my question is:  Does Webroot support these browsers?   It does not appear that it does support these browsers, which makes me sad for 2 reasons: 1) I have been using Webroot on my phone and have thought that my browsing was protected and 2) I really like Webroot, but if it only supports the standard browser, then I am going to have to look elsewhere for my security needs.   I am using a Motorola Atrix 4G with stock android 2.3.6.

I lost my phone on Saturday and I have the remote lock service activated. I have sent the scream and the locate commands but it appears mt device is not online. The history tab shows that the device last checked in 2 days ago.   My question is if I rechange my phone service to another device then If whoever has my phone turns it on will the device lock or will my info on the phone be available to who has it?   What is the best way to handle this?

They say it is up to the developer to support their app.    Individual app developers Once the app (free or paid) has been successfully downloaded and installed on Google Play, the individual Android app developers (the person or group of people who actually make the app or game that you’ve downloaded) take it from there. If you’re having trouble with an app force closing, freezing or any other problems, these are things the developer should be able to help you with. Find out what issues third-party developers can help you with.   I purchased Webroot Premier from Google Plus on 4/15/2012 and never received a number from Webroot. I did the same on 08/23/2012 from Google Plus for my Asus Tablet

I had to reset some things on my phone and was hoping to just download the Secure Anywhere Complete software like I did before and simply enter my email and password and keycode and be on my way but now it says my keycode is not associated with me any more. Any help I can get is greatly appreciated

Can I use the Secure anywhere on my desktop? I purchased it through Google Play.

when I login into help I got a warning fro Webroot that your Webroot security certificate was from an untrusted source. Might want to fix that if you want people to trust warnings.

With the Webroot Secure call blocker, the phone rings ONCE and THEN the call gets blocked. However, with my previous app (Easy Filter Call and SMS Blocker by Moonbeam), the phone does NOT ring at all. When will this be fixed?   -------- (Latest update of Android on Xperia Pro)

Ive just installed the webroot on my Sony Xperia S wich have Android 4.0 .The antivirus ran fine, and from mobile.webroot.com  I can see the phone registered and providing information. I just have a problem , I wanted to make a test to lock my mobile from the website or just use the google map locator device but when I enter to the webpage it says that the lost device protection is not turned on. I restart my phone and turned off and on again the lost device proteccion and its says everything its ok on my mobile. The problem is that the webpage mark as if were turned off. I also logged out on my website account and loggged in again to see if something happens but it remains in the same status   Is this a shincronizing problem?   Can you help me pls? Thanks

when i log in to mywebrootsecureanywhere, it shows one mobile device (my samsung) protected. when i click on add a mobile device from my wife's lg, an android device, the webroot secure anywhere site shows the application already installed. but it isn't. how to get it installed?

Hello, I have an HTC Legend phone, and I tried to run a Virus Scan. The following message occurs: Webroot failed to update its threat definitions. This likely means your device doesn't currently have internet access. You can continue your scan with the current definition set or cancel. Error: OutOfMemoryError processing def update. When I try to force definition updates the same error occurs. Can you help me. I don't want to continue run scans with old definitions, it won't be long before I'm not protected. Thanks.

I downloaded the free app for my new Galaxy III. Worked like a charm. I can check the app and see the message "you are protected". Perfect. I installed the free app for my iPad 2. No joy. I never got any requests to synch it with my account. It shows it is installed but I don't have any idea what else I should see to be sure. Should I see messages like I do on my phone to let me know it is "protected"? When I look at my account, the only device that shows is the phone. Somebody please tell me what I am doing wrong or not doing.

How can I set the app to only download new information over WiFi?
