Webroot Mobile

"Account creation failed.  The license check server returned an invalid response.   Raw Error:  License check failed due to too many activations.  Response code:  7"   I saw the post in the forums on this and have tried the following:   1) Fixed keyboard settings so that it is not auto-capitalizing which didn't help.  All letters that are supposed to be lower-case show up as upper-case. 2) Tried to paste the key with lower case letters (from a different application) and it gets converted when I paste the code into the field.  Pastes fine into a few other applications. 3) Saw a suggestion to use the "old" key from a previous installation or the key from my PC.  I can't find an older key than the one on my PC and it is all upper-case.   Please help.  I'm a very satisfied Webroot user and hope there is a relatively simple fix to the problem.

I purchased webroot secureanywhere complete.  I downloaded the Webroot SecureAnywhere Mobile Complete app for my android.  I have entered my email address, password and keycode associated with my laptop subscription.  I continually receive an error that says this "Your user credentials are not associated with this SecureAnywhere Complete keycode.  Make sure you've created this user on my.webrootanywhere.com and try again."  The keycode I entered IS associated with the email address and password i entered.  The keycode i entered is the exact keycode shown in my "manage keycodes" section of my online account.  Why isn't it recognizing it?   Droid Bionic 3.2

The latest update keeps crashing on my Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc s by not auto scanning when i download any apps restart the phone works for a while then crashes again uninstall re-install works for while and crashes again some help with this i'm awaiting for some help on this issue anybody.

My mobile (HTC) has Webroot SecureAnywhere Mobile Premier as the AV it expires in 2 days.  Currently displaying & has been for 20 minutes a splash screen stating Completing purchase...  Will it ever complete the purchase?   Yours   David

Lookout Free Antivirus preinstalled on my LG-C800 Android phone and I have Webroot SecureAnywhere Complete.  I don't use Lookout as an active program, but would there be a problem running it?  I don't plan to do so but want to know.  My phone model uses  up battery fast, so I keep bluetooth off except when I use it.  The only app that runs all the time is the Webroot.

error in viewing a website

I'm an android dev, so my phone is virtually always configured to allow installation from unknown sources, with USB debugging on. which means that my security console always considers me 'insecure' and 'needs attention'.   it would be really nice if one could select each of those alerts and set them to 'ignore'.

I've had the misfortune of running into this guy. He's found a way to bypass security on android phones. Here's what happened with me. I recently went to [URL removed by moderator] on a "free" offer of a ringtone. I entered my phone number to get the ringtone and noticed a subscription notification in the terms & conditions below and stopped. I left the page without completing the transaction. Since I had typed out my number he has a script that recorded it running on that page. since then he has passed my number out to his so called affiliates and have been getting webpage link notifications sent directly to my phone saying I won this, I won that.. and links to apps that I'm assuming he's written with code to do the same as I've described above. and since it's not sms messages I can't block hom. so webroot DO YOUR THING! I'm sure you guys can come up with something to block this guy. if you need more info, feel free to contact me.  

I have the secure anywhere complete on my HTC EVO 4G using the android 2.3.5 system. Everytime I try to use secure web to go anywhere on  the internet it goes to a blank page and thats it. I uninstalled then re-installed the webroot app on 3/14/12 and it worked for 2 days then quit again. Everything was working fine until I did the last update just over a week ago. Any ideas?

I download the app several times and when I try to put in my email, password and keycode it gives me  error message saying email and password not correct. I use the same email and password when I created the account when I purchased the software. I go in to the desktop website it works. But here it don't seem to work.

Hi all, Having the paid Premier version. I have set scheduled scans on a weekly basis. However every 7th day I am getting a warning that it is for a week when a scan wasn't run and I have to trigger it manually. It means that even if I have set weekly scans, they are not running. Daily update of definitions works fine, just the scans are problem. I am not sure but it might be that the problem with the missing scans began since update to 2.3.1336. Any clue to resolve it? I do not my password and I can not get into my phone. How do I uninstall webrooot. I work at night, and I am due at work in a couple of hours with no sleep today. I really do need my phone back on. So could someone please Help Me!!!!!

Hi guys, locate works great, lock as well but scream NEVER works, it shows the command sent on the phone but it doesn´t work. Any ideas?   Also, is it possible to set a "standard" message on the website so even if I send a lock command from a mobile it appears on my screen?    Cheers!

I already have webroot essentials for my computers, and the free webroot app for my apple mobile devices. Question: what is the advantage of purchasing the Webroot SecureAnywhere upgrade? I have read and read, and I can not find where the purchased upgrade, offer any advantage over the free App. I can see that the upgrade offers alot more for other mobile devices, but not for the iOS devices. I called Webroot sales, the first salesperson, assured me that I dont need the upgrade and that the free App, is all I need. I called a second time, and the saleslady insisted that I need it.. when I point to her that a previous salesperson, had assured me that my app devices only needed the free app... she was quite annoyed and put me on hold for long long time, never got back and got disconnected.... so do I need the upgrade or the free app is all I need?

I installed Webroot Security & Antivirus on my Anroid (Huawei Sonic) a few months ago.  Today I got a notice to say an upgrade was available for download.  I asked to install it, agreed to the terms and conditions, but after downloading the file and attempting to install it, I get an error message "insufficient storage available".   I tried uninstalling and reinstalling - uninstall worked fine but the same problem occurred when trying to reinstall, so now I have no virus protection.   Checking my storage I have 17.96 MB available on internal SD card and 16.92 MB available on internal storage.   Any suggestions on how to fix the problem?   Thanks

I downloaded the free app from the applestore... as soon as I access it, It asks for login name and password.... but I can not find how or where do I create one.... I went through the help and instructions...still can not find anywhere, how do I register, so that I can creat a login name and password.... I appreciate the free app..... only would love to be a bet more clear... I have not gone any farther than that....bc I have no idea how to log in

I am having a issue with my log in. When I downloaded my app for my phone and I put in the email, password and my Secure Anywhere complete keycode in the log in box,  I recieve a error message saying:   Error Login failed. The email or password you entered is incorrect.   Since the log I used the same log in on to check the status of my computers that are associated with that account and it works fine.   But I just don't understand why it not letting me log in.   ---------- (Edited for more informative subject line - Jim)

I purchased 2 one year subscriptions for two Samsung tablets.  Each tablet shows a product key and 337 days left.  When I go to Google Play store to update, it shows that I have the free versions installed and I can't update the paid version.   Please show me how to fix this.   Many thanks,

i have selected to block calls from unknown numbers. however fhis blocks ALL calls. i do want my contacts to ring through and nit go to voice mail. how do i make that happen?

im using wsa complete and i have a folder on my computers that i sync with them but how do i sync that same folder to my droid that i have wsa complete on also?

I accidently locked my galaxy s2. I also have always had enabled  the draw a secret pattern security for certain apps. The problem is when i come to the section where its asking me to put in the webroot password the screen doesnt give me enough time to do this, because its nearly instananeosly flashing between the draw pattern screen and the put in webroot password box screen. There seems to be a conflict. Can you help?...because this an expensive phone with a lot of information i need on it. Is there a way round this, for example unlocking the phone from my account when logged in on my computer? (I have looked but cannot see if and where this can be done)

I had been having scan problems with Webroot on my Archos 101g9 tablet. It always stopped at scanning SD card and would go no further. Today i have installed a firmware update from Archos and now Webroot works it has scanned my tablet. Just thought I would let you know so it may help others with this problem.

I am hoping that someone can help me.  We have used Webroot for many years for our 3 home pc's and now we are moving into the Android world.  I have loaded the free android app to my tablet but when I go to log in it says that I have too many activations.  I have 3 pc's and Webroot itself says that we should be able to also have 3 android devices.  Has anyone had this issue and if so, how did you solve it.  Thanks   ---------- (Edited for more informative subject line - Jim)

Hello,   I've noticed that if I have my "Background Data" transfer option turned off on my tablet (usually to conserve my battery life), I won't get any of the Lost Device Protection features, until it is turned back on. Could you add a feature that will watch for this?   Also, I've noticed that some app crashes may be caused by Webroot Mobile, I was told by several developers to submit a log file to your developers, so here it is... They said that it is denying some permission in their apps automatically. There is also another log file attached to Support Case # 00217818   Thanks for any help! ...
