Webroot Mobile

When I send the "scream password" text to my phone, the handcent SMS pops up but no scream. I can only make it work if I send the commands from my PC. Please help! Thanks.

I am getting "cannot connect to Webroot servers." What's up with that? My mobile phone is connected to the internet. I am becoming very frustrated with Webroot.   looks like it could be a different issue - moved to new thread - admin

Hello,   I have discovered by chance that WSA Android can be easily terminated. If you open WSA in Applications Manager and press Enforce Termination WSA terminates then. I had expected a prompt for a password like when you uninstall WSA.   It seems like a security hole, doesn't seem? In this way a malware can easily terminate WSA and penetrate into Android. Nevertheless it might be rather Android limitation/behaviour than a security flaw.   Therefore any comment is appreciated.   Thanks & regards, pegas

I have my password that I have checked by logging in to the website but my Galaxy S3 will not accept it.  Any ideas what is going on?  I believe that this happened during the night when the software updated.   Any help or advice will be gratefully accepted.   Kaya

Hi.need some help. Trying to install webroot secure anywhere onto samsung note 10.1tablet.have downloaded app but when i try to login i keep getting error message. Message reads-license check failed due to invalid keycode.responce code;1 I have entered disk code and code from my account page but both give same error code. Any ideas. Many thanks

I have a question about the security capabilities of Webroot Mobile.   Example: I'm sitting in a public area using my iPhone and all is well it seems. However, there is someone sitting a few feet away attempting to hack into my iPhone via Wifi and access my private information stored on the phone.   Does Webroot Mobile help protect my iPhone from this type of attack? Does it allow me to encrypt that private information?   Thanks!

Hello,   I've installed my licensed Webrotte SecureAnywhere on my new Galaxy Note 10.1. Now the device is locked for good by WebRoot and I just can't get anywhere ... changing password on the my.webrootanywhere.com doesn't help at all ... I'm stuck with the 10.1 device. Even a device reset is not allowed ...   Samsung Galaxy S  III where I've got a copy of the same WebRoot running works fine ...   Any help on this would be greatly appreciated ;o)   Thanks   Kimi  

When I try to view the freeroms.com website in my web browser on my Samsung SPH-D700, SecureAnywhere Mobile prompts me with a page blocker. When I tell it to "Never Block This Site", it reloads the page and prompts me again. Anybody know why it does this, because it does it with other sites.   *Link edited out by Moderator because it may be malicious.*

I thought that SecureWeb Browser (SWB) functions more less in the same way how WSA protects the supported browsers on PCs. I mean for instance having the checkmarks in Google search, blocking the bad rated webpages (tested on ...tube where while I've got a warning on PC I've got nothing on Android and the page loads) etc. It looks like that none of the said features are presented in SWB. repeated error message when trying to register webroot complete on my tablet - "key code not associated with this user name and account". It is! It recognises the trial key but not the paid version. Help!

Please some wonderful person slide me some Intel on how to get the unlock key/code for a phone that recently had its sim taken out only to be replaced and now this customer is locked out. He does not remember his code to unlock his device and is seriously harassing me to figure it out for him. I would install WR on my device but I dont think that would help too much. Hello, I have recently downloaded the secureanywhere app for my android, and when I set up the account online and tried to log in with my phone, it says "your user credentials are not associated with this secureanywhere complete keycode.  Make sure you've created this user on http//my.webrootanywhere.com and try again."  I have aleady done this, and it says my phone is protected, but I cant log in on my phone...what can I do?

Running SecureAnywhere Mobile Premier on Droid 2.  Last few days, when I begin a scan, it does fine until it gets to the SD card - then it just ist there and does nothing - except drain the battery!  Just let it run overnight - same thing - it didn't move.   Would reinstall fix or is there a better solution? 

Installed free mobil app - created account - can login fine from phone browser. Unable to login from pc browser, well I can login but get a " Error retrieving data" in the Moblie Security Section on the Webpage, and I am logged out. I have checked the account setting from the phone browser - amin etc... all ok. Tried clearing cookies, form data etc... Please advise

My phone has noticeably slowed down since I installed SA and I am now having to pull the battery at least once a day to get the phone back to responsive, how do I uninstall it?     Thanks,

i bought a secure anywhere complete  for 3 pcs and its for android phone as well so i installed it for my laptop and know i want to do it for my android phone an icant  it  keeps saying and error messege credentials are not associated with this secure anywhere complete

I had to do a factory reset on my phone.  When I redownloaded Webroot SecureAnywhere Mobile Complete and tried to login I got this error message: "Login failed.  The email or password you entered is incorrect."  I am using the same email and password that I use to login to mywebroot on my PC.  Any ideas on why it won't work and what I need to do?  Thanks.   I have checked out the post in knowledge base regarding this issue and still have no luck.  I've reset my password, made sure capslock wasn't on, my device isn't rooted, etc.

I just downloaded Webroot on my son's Kindle Fire.  We are trying to use it like a remote alarm clock, so I need to be able to get it to scream.  When I log into the website and go to the page to make it scream, I get an error of   "We were unable to contact your device at this time. Your device will receive the "scream" request the next time it checks in. Please note that your device must be online to check in and receive the command."   It is connected to our Wifi so I don't understand why it won't work.  Any ideas?   Thank you

I use the secure anywhere product and have my pantach burst as my mobile device. i am thinking about doing the free upgrade to android 4.0 and am wondering what i might need to do to ensure continued use of secure anywhere. i really like the product and want to make sure nothing gets messed up. any info would be greatly appreciated. thanks

Help I have a big problem! i cannot access my android!... I have deactivate webroot administrator and now i cannot access my handy... i have all password but i dont'undestand... i have also change mein passwords in the my account website but nothing...when open my handy he want one passwordit is egal ass of web and it funtion but after the phone always have one space for one passwordwhat????!!  i have also deleted my protection device in website but i cannot access my  handy...please help me... I looked but I decided this would be as good a place as any to ask about this (ya I visit a few forums and I know it can get annoying when threads are in the wrong place).         So, the webroot secure web app for mobile devices. How exactly does this work and make everything safer? Is it basically auto encrypt anything and everything sent over the web through forms? Does it encrypt every connection, and run further scans or security measures than using the mobile versions of chrome (which is what I have been using, but I am liking the webroot app)? If so what kind of encryption is it using for form data? If webroot is already running in the background is this just another extra layer of security then? Or is it basically just a mobile web browser since the main app should catch any thing that is unwanted or sneaky anyways? After running a scan of my on Sept. 11th of this year, I saw that the App had a message asking me to upgrade to the premier version.I was really  confused because I had already purchased it maybe 5-6 months ago for something like $19.95. I immediatly opened up the " Play Store " app on my phone and navigated to the " My App's " page, found the Webroot Premier icon, clicked it, and was taken to the Play Store page where your App is located.    As soon as the app page came up, I was asked to confirm my purchase. I exited back out to my apparently and found that I was being charged THE $19.95 AGAIN for the app! I went straight to the email link and sent this exact message ( on Sept. 11th ). I only recently recieved a reply telling me to ask for help here.  So, here it goes......HELP!!!

I have installed Webroot SecureAnywhere Mobile (Version 2.9.0.3571) on my HTC One X (not-rooted) and during a device scan, it hangs on "Scanning SD Card" and never completes. The HTC One X does not have an SD Card, only internal memory. How do I correct this so that the scan completes and Webroot SecureAnywhere Mobile functions?
