Webroot® SecureAnywhere™ - Home

When I try to launch Fable Anniversary, which I acquired via Steam, Webroot SecureAnywhere for PC Gamers blocks access, crashes the game, and won't listen to the "Allow Always" button.   I've even manually whitelisted the Fable Anniversary EXE file.   The only way I can get the game to work with this gaming-friendly AV is to shut down protection completely.   Please advise. is photoscape a safe program to  download?  I tried to download it but kept getting a message saying i had insufficent permission - I am not sure if webroot is blocking the download

ive noticed on my macbook that when i opened up the lid the web pages i was on were gone. I had to get back online. could I have been hacked?

I have a popup, a flashing popup tha is just about impossible to get around.  Does webroot find these or do I need specials software.

When using search on Mcafee And Norton anti virus the sites have a color coded rating..Since Webroot doesn't do this does it block dodgy sites or should I use a third party helper like Norton or Mcafee site advisors along with WSA?:D

I am trying to make trades on a platform and cannot.  The technicians think it is Webroot causing the issue.  They have asked that I disable Webroot and try again.  How do I disable it?

I got Secure anywhere for gamers...It seems to be exactly the same as WSA regular anti virus,,IIs that right   Had a good price on amazon...It seems by the console it's upgradable later on..Am I right on both counts since it doesn't actually say gamer's edition..   Ps Pretty old gamer at 68 but the price is great..

Had an older version of Webroot, which expired.  I bought an updated version and installed it.  However, I cannot add a PC, and it says that I have 0 PC's protected.  For some reason, when I try to download the software to add a PC, it brings me back to my expired prescription.     Any advide would be much appreciated.  

before webroot was installed I could play farmville2 for hours with out interuption but now I can only play for about 3 monutes then I have to refresh..Why?

I have three PC's at home, and suddenly each one is receiving a message at startup to the effect it wishes that we click on a certain point to learn what webroot has/is doing for us performance wise. - and a list of statistical info is outlined. How can I stop this?   Is anyone else receiving these messages at the moment.?  I used to get them occasionally - but at the moment it is every time I boot up.

I got jacked by iYogi scam ,they led me to believe they were Webroot partner ,it was intrusive & I feel really stupid for not realizing it ,they asked permission to enter my computer ..then did all this weird stuff ,and all I wanted to know was what I needed to do to add another computer to my Webroot subscriotion . Finally the guy asked me for $498 ,or .I was warned my laptop was certainly going to crash...a outright threat almost . I was panicking ,.and now some random dude from India friended me on FB ,think it was the jackass I was speaking with at iYogi....I DID not confirm him of course on FB !!! I was hacked and after changing my password, etc... I noticed all my my contacts in my att email are gone.  ATT suggested I ask webroot if they have a back up?

Can anyone help me understand why Webroot has to be disabled in order to install SQL 2008 R2? I find that if it is not disabled first, SQL only partially installs, and will not open.  All the entries are there, but the service will not start, ande you have to uninstall all the componants, disable Webroot,  and install it again.    You can turn Webroot back on after the install, but it has to be off while you do it.  Any ideas? 

I have a file on my computer that says catroot and there is nothing in it but wierd numbers and letters could this be a virus and if so how do I get rid of it because my webroot scan says my computer is clean

In the past, if I had 100 days remaining on my Webroot subscription and renewed early for a year, the 100 days would be added to the new 365 days and I would have 465 days remaining. I just upgraded using a plan at Best Buy and if I enter the new key code, I lose the 100 days and only have 365 days. Is this a change in your policy?
