WSA lacking certain tools that are available on Windows 10, but not for Mac OS X?

The Mac OS X version of WSA lacks certain tools that my windows computer version has such as:   Antimalware Tools Protection Statistics  Execution History Run Safestart Sandbox Identity Protection lacks a gear icon that also has Application Protection, the Mac OS X version ONLY has "Phishing Shield"  Why are the two versions so different and is this normal?

How do I set WSA to allow a connection with the Apple ID server?

I am having trouble signing into the Apple ID server.  After an hour with Apple service, we determined it was WebRoot that was causing the problem.  I would be able to login as long as WebRoot was turned off.  How do I change a setting, or whatever, in WebRoot Secure Anytime to allow the connection?  Thank you.

Java Script update problem.

I got an announcement for a Javascript update for my Mac and installed it.  Immediately, the Webroot SecureAnywhere found a lot of malware files, so I removed them.  Did it just delete the Javascript files?  It appears  the Webroot mistook the update for malware.  Also, since the program told to remove all my USB drives prior to scanning the computer, it couldn't scan the USB drive files, requiring a re-scan.  Seems like a waste of time.

RDN/trojan worm

While on Facwbook, I clicked on an ad showing different feet and got a message telling me to call Microsoft support at 866 number.  The worm was a RDN/Trojan G55BCCAC9FEC Infection.  Supposed to go after your bank account ETC. ETC.   I wasn't sure what to do and the warning looked a little bougus so I decided to just close the window and run Webroot Secure Anywhere.  I did and it showen no active threats.  Now I am a little spooked.  Is the Webroot definitions up to date?  Is this RDN/Trojen included?  What do I need to do to be safe?   Any help?  Ideas? Thanks, Gary

how to remove old device from console & replace with newer one

I hope I am in the right spot here.  I just renewed my Webroot protection and wanted to remove my old tablet from the console and replace it with my new laptop.  I don't know how to do this.  Also the laptop information stated that when I turn it on it will be automatically protected by McAfee for, I believe a month, at which point I have the option to accept or refuse their protection. Of course I am sticking with Webroot but I didn't know if it would be wise to try to add my device to Webroot at the same time McAfee is on it too.  I don't know if this could cause problems or mess up the laptop.  I don't know if i should wait til the trial period is over. I am anxious to turn on my new laptop but I wanted to make sure I don't damage something somehow.  Any advice or help you can give me will be very appreciated.  I would like to add that I am a senior and with that in mind, please explain anything I have to do as simply as possible. &n

cloud sometimes loses changes

Hi, I've been using the cloud part of Webroot for about 2 years for unchanging stuff, but recently I'v needed to regularly have changes to certain docs and spreadsheets and the cloud hasn't always kept it. Sometimes has, sometimes not. Also an uploaded folder disappeared completely (never deleted from/by any machine, I should add). I use an Excel finance spreadsheet, and my partner uses it for a small business, so it's not unimportant. Problem maybe is (?) we upload from several different machines (all laptops) in different places, often same day. How does the cloud work in these circumstances - should a change be visible at once, after a bit, next day or what and from all machines the same? Or what? Once I know how it works, I can work with it, but at the moment I'm back on thumb-drives and physically carrying them for security of backup and changes. Thanks

webroot filtering extention for firefox add-on disabled!

I logged in an launched firefox.  What do I see?  Firefox notifying me that webroot web filtering extention was disabled  because it t could not be verified.     ?   Needless to say this is very disappointing for all our customers who are using this product. This is the most visible way in which Webroot is visible and brings value to customers.  While the extnetion is disabled this introduces an additional risk.   When is Webroot going to update their plug in?  Manual intervention on the part of the user is not an option with users who are not computer savvy, and users will see this as a Webroot issue regardless of the actual root cause.   Let me know when this will be fixed.   In the meantime I will see if there is a way to turn off signing.  This workaround is not an option for our customers.

I can't get the red exclamation mark off of my greyed out webroot icon.  I have scanned, and all looks good.  I've restarted the computer but no help??

had to reset windows 10 and lost webroot.

Reset windows 10 on my HP computer and lost webroot.  My HP is now being protected by Windows Defender.  Yet when I sign into the webroot website, it says that my HP is still protected.  All together I have three computers but on my recently reset  HP, I have no access to webroot on this particular computer

First keystroke (missing character) still not working (dutch version 8.0.2.109)

First is keystroke still not working in both Firefox and Chrome in dutch version 8.0.2.109. This issue is not resolved after 2 months'time. Biggest problem with this is that protection against bad websites is not working properly on first missing keystroke. This means that anybody with dutch version is not fully protected. I would suggest to give this issue a higher priority. Regards
