Yes I have opened a support ticket before (last year) and followed all the instructions I have seen in this forum. The problem persists. Yes I have contacted customer support recently → NO RESPONSEYes I have opened yet another ignored support ticketYes I have rebooted in safe mode to try to uninstall → IT DOES NOT WORKI need a HUMAN on the PHONE to deal with this issue once and for all because at this point it’s not protecting my devices and it is preventing me from getting real internet security software to do that. This product worked swimmingly for me in 2018 - 19. But since then it has taken a gigantic nosedive. There are so many customers with the same complaints over the years and so little has changed. You need to FIX the issue!
Andriod platform will not show any info under app inspector, other than “security concern”. I pay for the FULL protection so this should be an option available. It does load the page, just no the apps.Help page says contact the forum, to get an email address where the logs can be sent to for review.Anybody know where I can EMail the log to?
So first off I have the receipt on my email for my most current purchase of Webroot this was back in I think November. I forgot my password and I am going on 3 hours of no email to the email account to reset password. Webroot isn’t blocked, and its not going to spam or any other folders. This is an issue because Windows defender decided to activate its self sometime in the last 2 months and turn my webroot off and now not only am I unable to get defender to shut off permanently, I can’t get webroot to uninstall using command prompt, run command or other means, I cant get it to open or turn back on. And when I redownload it I also can’t get it to run from the downloaded folder. (this is the only thing that wont run when I download) Not sure what to do at this point suggestions would be great!
Good Day,I have had an issue for months regarding using Webroot on multiple computers that run Windows 10 and Windows Defender Antivirus Software. I can no longer use Webroot on these devices.Windows Defender is the only Antivirus Software I can use. Webroot will no longer open & I can not turn it on exclusively run as my Antivirus of choice or with Windows Defender. I have even tried to re-download the installer and it will not execute it. Please let me know if there is a solution to resolve this issue with using your software. Thank you.
I got a new WIN 10 Dell desktop, and migrated apps and data with laplink. It took 3 tries. on the 3rd try I unchecked webroot and did not transfer it, based on laplink advice. When I look on Webroot under PC security I see 2 iterations of the new PC, which I ASSUME is from the first 2 attempts to transfer. I see no way to remove these.I tried to DL the software from the website, I get the SAVE YES OR NO window, click yes, and nothing happens. Webroot does not show up as a program on the new PC, although there is a folder on C:\Program Files\Webroot which I can put the icon on the taskbar, but cant open it or initiate a scan. Help please!
I have had problems accessing the dashboard on my secure anywhere subscription yesterday and today. Often it does not come up at all. Other times it comes up and virus scan works but nothing else does. I have opened a ticket with tech support but have heard nothing back. I tried to send a follow up message but my password does not seem to work. I clicked on forgot password and the system said it emailed me a password but nothing showed up. Also, for some reason last night, I could not pull up the Webroot main website on any of three different browsers and two different computers. Is there a problem with the system or the company that I missed hearing about? I am looking at getting a new computer fairly soon and I intended to get Webroot again but I am beginning to have doubts.
Been with Webroot for over 6 years now. I have done this now each time. I was told this round though to call Sales... Which I did and told they don't add time to current keycodes. Said yet they have, done it many time.. reply was "no we haven't, never have... yet I wont argue with you about it"... he wasn't being rude, just matter of fact attitude. Anyways, I take great dissatisfaction from this. As said this has been done so many times and the reason why I stay with webroot as the ease of it as some systems on my 5 license aren't easily accessible. So I ask, is there anyone that can do what has been done 5 or 6 times already without an issue. All has been great in the past with this very issue up until now. Thank you and I look forward to y our reply.

I’ll truly appreciate it!I have contacted support already yesterday and till now - no clear direction how to solve this very basic issue? -Jay PS: Another issue is that on some of my PCs- webroot causes freezes and slow down the PC a lot.
I have a subscription to iDrive and all of my scheduled backups only achieve 4% backup before failure. Is it possible that my webroot firewall or webshield is creating a conflict?
Just installed Secure Anywhere complete Now I cannot open any link on emails received into Outlook. Why? I need these regular email updates. How do i solve this?
Hey, I’ve wanted to use LastPass for a while. I waited, as the option for it has said: “Password Manager Powered by LastPassYour keycode has now expired.” And just gave me an option to renew.I didn’t want to renew until my last day, so I didn’t waste any days I had left before I renewed.Today I renewed for three years [Complete for 5 devices]But, still the LastPass section on https://my.webrootanywhere.com/home Says the same: Password Manager Powered by LastPassYour keycode has now expired. And I still have no way to do anything but go to ‘renew’ - I have over 1k days left of my new subscription.I thought maybe I couldn’t use LassPass because I only tried to with around 20 days left of my previous webroot ‘subscription’I’m sure I am being thick. But how do I start using LassPass, as it’s one of the reasons I renewed with webroot as I was looking forward to using itThanks for any helpx
Hi! On my job laptop i'm constantly getting high CPU usage, somewhat crippling the machine and keeping the fans busy. This goes on for 24/7 no matter if I restart. Any idea how to fix it?
My scans always note a green alert that “new updates available need to be installed.: But it never tells me which ones and when I check the program versions, they all seem to be current. How can I find out what updates the scan is referring to? I have Windows 7, but I can’t update that as no longer supported. Thanks.
Hi, My son is playing Fortnite and for playing tournaments, he is using a 3rd party program called War Legends. Whenever I try to download and install it, Webroot flags it as containing virus. I googled the program and came across an official statement from the company, stating the files do not contain any virus.Ok, I thought I will just allow the file in both the download folder and installation folder. I did so in Webroot “block/allow” and I also whitelisted the installation folder and the .exe file in said folder. However, on a daily basis, I have to manually restore the file from the installation folder because Webroot flagged and removed it. The whitelist file/folder I put in, are also gone and the file I allowed is back to being blocked.I submitted both the downloaded file and the .exe file through webroot, but is there a way I can keep webroot of the installation folder and installed file? It’s getting annoying that I have to do this every day./Mikael
I have received information regarding the software on my system:A large number of temporary files have been found (248MB - Windows/IE only) An active process has a possible memory leak (firefox.exe) An active process has a possible handle leak (Dropbox.exe).Should I be concerned? How do I go about resolving the issue? Thanks in advance!
I am baffled by the seemingly useless page that appears when I log in.
After installing Webroot, I was no longer able to access Google Chrome. I added chrome.exe as “allow” under PC Security which now lets me open a chrome browser. However, I am not able to access any links in Microsoft Outlook. I’m not even able to access the “Visit User Guide” or “Learn More” in the Webroot app itself. The cursor just spins for a moment then ….nothing. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
Sooner or later I know I will have to get a new phone. I could even drop it, lose it or who knows, or it could just fail unexpectedly. I know at some point Webroot had me set up 2 factor authentication using Google authenticator. Maybe it’s required for when you login to your console. I don’t remember. Or maybe I activated it on my own. I don’t recall. But I don’t think so. It wasn’t until just recently that I really understood what it was all for (using an app like this. I understood what the text messages were for.In any case, I’m wondering what you have to do to move it to a new phone. Every time when I’ve gotten a new phone, they moved the number to the new phone and then the old one quit working. So I’m wondering how you manage this… for when the day finally comes.I’m wondering the same thing about google accounts as well.Thanks.
I am being told verification email sent because pc not recognised. My colleague tried same and is getting them. I’ve been receiving them previously. Can’t use password manager if I can’t verify the machine
Hello, I have been a WR user for many years so when it was time to get a new code for all our computers I did not hesitate. I have updated all the computers and phones but now about every 30 minutes there is a pop up about a new WebRoot user agreement. I have tried rebooting, opening it and scrolling through it and turning off the application and restarting but the problem persists on all of the Windows 10 devices. What is the solution, it is very annoying especially when I am in the middle of something and it pops up?
I just got a new pc laptop. I cannot put the software in via disc. How can I add my existing protection to this pc?

I was having trouble recently with Google Chrome not starting properly, usually taking 4 or more attempts for it to actually start and then having multiple instances shown as running in task manager. I uninstalled and reinstalled it but that didn’t help. I’m not a very sophisticated user, I should add. I took every app off my startup list, but that didn’t help either. I did notice there are a ton of items showing in task manager, most of which I can’t identify.I tried yesterday to contact webroot support and got someone posing as Webroot tech support after I called a number that appeared to be on a Webroot webpage. That was the stupid part. The guy took over my computer using teamviewer and messed around for almost an hour. Eventually, he told me I had numerous errors from multiple apps and needed updates and cleanup. I was getting suspicious, but the guy was pretty good at faking the role. Then he wanted to sell me a firewall which I declined and wanted to charge me for clea
