Webroot® SecureAnywhere™ - Complete

Hi Guys I need some help,I bought a webroot ISC disk from my local walmart it installed on my laptop fine but won’t install or run on my pc,also it won’t accept the new keycode...Please advise 

I’ve put a question in to support but they are a bit slow at the moment so I wondered if anyone has an idea to solve a problem. Webroot was working fine when I switched off the PC. When booted up the next day I noticed the webroot shortcut was missing and my sync icons were gone.The program is still in the program list but will not open.I decided to uninstall for a fresh install. It will not uninstall. Using standard uninstall I get the message “It is necessary to log in as an administrator to access this feature”.I have now tried every other way I could find on the web in normal and safe mode.  None will uninstall. Any ideas? Hi guys, So this is something odd. I was renewing my license on my computer. I accidentally typed the last digit wrong and it gave me an error (as expected). I then typed it correctly but I added 2 extra digits just in case to the end just to see what happens. But it still activiated... which is odd. But on the app, the correct license was showing with out the 2 extra digits. So it seems that even if you add extra digits to the end of the license, as long as everything before is correct, the app will accept the license.WR devs, can you confirm? Best.

Hi We encounter a problem on those PC in the company will freeze.I had created a tickets to webroot ticketing systems, but i found out there are few days nobody reply my post. Because support team request me to upload the webroot log to them.Now still dont have anyone support me or even reply on the update status. Webroot please reply my email or either in the ticketing system. We need the update status.Else the client decision may drop the next renewal (almost renew period).  

I am trying to set up my account and keep getting an error when it asks for the 2 letter of my security code. I contacted tech support and they gave me an answer of going back on line and try to set up the account again. Same result every time I try.

Hi,  Firefox updated to version 77.0  yesterday, I then checked for add on updates one of which was the Webroot filtering extension.  To enable this I was asked to input keycode, however I’m left with a spinning circle on trying to register. after leaving this for over 5 minutes I closed Firefox  on re-opening the icon is no longer loading,an I covered?.

How do I removed "Centrally Managed" computer to User managed? Dave

Using Webroot V9.0.28.48 Windows 10 2004 and Google Chrome latest version. I have noticed if I click on  access web console or Get customer support from the webroot interface nothing happens, the webpage no longer opens. If I shut down webroot and restart without restarting my pc it works. Also if I change the  windows default browser to another all works fine.   Anyone else able to replicate this issue?

Hello! I'm wondering what would happen with online backup files when ransomware do a encryption on my computer? Files are also stored as you know on My Documents/Webroot Anywhere filder.. So basically whatever I do with files from my folder it affect the online files. So it means, if ransomware enter my pc and start encrypt my files, Webroot will replace infected files with the good ones on the cloud, or I'm wrong?

Hi WR Team/Community,   I hope all is well.   So there’s something I noticed when adding Edge Chrome to the app protection under the ID shield of WRSA. Every time there’s a new update to Edge, you need to manually add Edge Chrome again to the app protection.    I have a feeling this is Edge being weird but it has happened 3 times already on 2 different computers. Can you guys take a look into this?   Thank you.

While purchasing the subscription, I have received errors for both Paypal and card payments, and then the subscription failed. I tried it once again and it returned with the same errors. Twice my money got deducted, but not subscribed. I have 2 transaction proofs. For both the transactions money has been deducted from my bank account to Webroot security.   It has been more than 72 hours and the money has not reverted back. Please help me to get the subscription for one time the amount got deducted and refund the duplicate amount that has been deducted.

Tonight I renewed my WSA licence.  I tried to enter the new code on the previous version and the app kept crashing so I clicked on download from the email. It downloaded the wsamac.dmg files.   I clicked on it and tried to open Webroot. It will not open. There is an icon on the bottom task bar and when I click on it, it does nothing.  If I click on WebrootSecureAnywhere (on the top menu bar)  nothing happens. There is no drop down menu. It does nothing when I click on it.  Can someone direct me what to do to uninstall this thing and hopefully try again otherwise I’ve wasted money on something I can’t fix. I’m not exactly tech savvy but I know enough to hopefully follow directions to fix this.  All other articles have said to Click on the top menu and click on uninstall. I do not have that option. I’ve put the application in the trash several times and every time I try again it won’t open.  Thanks inadvance. 

I downloaded an exe file and webroot quarantined it with no warning message.  It just disappeared from the folder I was trying to put it in.  I have a few questions about quarantined files.   1) If Webroot quarantines a file, has it really found a threat in the file or is this just an automatic response for certain types of files, like exe's?   2) I am somewhat a new user of Webroot, so is this the way that Webroot handles files that it quarantines, that is, it just removes it from the folder and really doesn't tell what it was doing?   3) I did get error messages when trying to move the exe file into a new folder.  It said, I was not authorized to access the target folder rather than tell me the file might be a threat to my system.  Is this really Webroot's behavior?  It would seem to me that it would be better to notify the user that there was a perceived threat problem with the file rather than use a more ob

Our subscription was automatically renewed several days ago and since then the Webroot on each device is returning a message that the keycode is expired and would we like to renew.   Saying yes to the option simply takes us to the browser page for payment for a new product. The keycode in our main web console is showing as active with 360+ days left.   I tried uninstalling Webroot on my PC and then re-installing and of course when it asks for the keycode it is coming up with the same expired message.   I have started a ticket with Webroot support but not getting any response - what can i do from here?

Hi,   i’m stuck in a frustrating loop. I need help resetting my 2FA, since i lost my device… choosing ‘lost device’ redirects me to a link requiring to answer three questions  i cannot remember setting… and below that it says: need help? Contact support. But you can only get support AFTER login, which i cannot do, obviously. Reaching support by phone is not possible… so now what? Any ideas? I can’t permanently delete a file which is password locked with Libre Office This is no longer a problem. I rebooted my PC and this problem is gone. I do have a new one where when I click on “Access Web Console” nothing happens I go no where.

I purchased a two year license via Amazon.com today. I recieved the keycodes and entered it. But it was showing my license was only good through December 13th 2014 (Less than 11 months). I called Amazon and they said Webroot provides the keycodes. So I called Webroot.   The Webroot advisor said I purchased a one year license LAST MONTH. I told him I purchased a two year license this morning. He practically called me a liar and insisted I purchased it last month. He said Webroot would not support the product because I didn't purchase it directly from Webroot.   I accessed my web console and saw someone else's computer  listed with my own computers (I purchased a 5 device license). So now I have aceess to shutdown and lock their PC. I'm thinking "WTF? Can they do the same to my computers?"   This is a horrible violation of security by Webroot. I paid $99 for security software that Webroot won't support and that has made my computers

I ran a system analyzer and amdrsserv.exe came up as a possible leak. My computer seems to run faster I disabled it, can I safely delete it ??? Or is it necessary???

Why dies Webroot Secure Anywhere disconnect when I shut down my computer and have to reconnect when I start up my computer? Why is it not securing my computer  continuously?

Hello Community,   I went thru the registration and account creation process on the site; http://my.webrootanywhere.com; after successfully registering and creating my account I attempted to login to http://my.webrootanywhere.com (I also have 2FA enabled); as soon as I enter my email address, userid password and then my 2FA code the site flashes the following error: “You have been logged out. Again I am trying to login to http://my.webrootanywhere.com so I have no idea when I am trying to login into the site it logs me out.   Any suggestions of how to resolve this error.
