Hey there Webrooters,  Wherever you are in the world, I hope you’re doing well this week!     Who here has had a bad experience with malware? Password stolen? Online gaming account hacked? Experienced identity theft as a result of personal info being stolen? Had money drained from a bank account due to clicking a phishing link?   Because we’ve all committed to using an antivirus solution such as Webroot, I assume we’ve at least had a close call with malware, if not a full-blown horror story. I have a couple of my own stories that I’ll share below, and I’m really interested to hear some of yours!     Story #1:  My first experience dealing with malware was when I was around 11 or 12 years old. This would have been in 2004/2005. At the time I was heavily involved in an online MMORPG video game called “RuneScape” - I assume some of you have heard of or played this game. My security “Scan”  takes 6 to 8 minutes.  in the past it took less than 3 minutes.  So I have a problem ?

How can I contact Support with a new issue without entering my password.  The system has this prompt: “Please enter your password below if you wish to continue with your previous conversation.”  I don’t have a previous conversation, but if I leave the field blank, nothing happens and if I put my password in (the one used to access the website in the first place), nothing happens.  Any ideas?

I have 2 annual subscriptions with Webroot that I am going to cancel if what I see is true. I Googled 3 different websites that contain content FOR Black people BY Black people and I received a warning: “This site may contain content that could affect your online security.”One of those websites is owned by ME therefore I know that it contains NO “content” that would even remotely affect your online security. This warning APPEARS to be a racist means to interfere with Black people from conducting legitimate business with each other.  I am going to alert every African American website content producer to conduct a TEST to see if they are being flagged as a possible threat also. We have MILLIONS of followers across multiple social media platforms. If these flags are not removed within the next 72 hours, there will be a ton of videos released with Webroot as the subject. Just purchased computer and WR Anywhere at Best Buy.  Best Buy installed the product and I can see the product, key code, serial number and all kinds of other information.  But when I go to create my account, it tells me the key code is already assigned to an existing account.  Submitted support ticket(s) - and that was useless as days before hearing from them -- called support and that was useless also as rep offered no help and said my email address was not on the account for my keycode but offered no assistance beyond.  Spoke with Best Buy and they did NOT create “my account” for customers on their own and have no idea how this happened.  Any and all suggestions welcome and much appreciated on how to remedy this matter.

I  recently got a new computer which has a temporary McAffee LifeSafe subscription.  It just found multiple trackers, which it then cleaned, and I  wonder why Webroot Secure Anywhere did not find them?

When ever I receive a email from community.webroot.com I receive a instant screen stating Page Not Found. Please Help Me With This 😭

Hi hope all you are good. I am new here and i am truly irritated now  because of unknown threats calls on my  laptop as i used many things for security but still  i am afraid of being destroy by an cracker. As we used door locks in our homes but still there are chances to enter the thief in our houses because they know all the tactics to open the closed door. They are the best locksmith service provider they can make duplicate key in no time or break the lock immediately.  So how we can safe ourselves from cracker when our security service provider is with the cracker. So what should be the best way to make ourselves safe. I am worried about it.
