Webroot

Is it just me or is everyone else unable to make changes to a policy i created 4 years ago!. Using Mozilla Firefox 65, i am now unable to make any changes to anything in the policy. before i would simply double click, make the changes and then Commit the changes and apply to my test PC to ensure they work but i cannot nor do i see any drop down to Enable "Favor low CPU usage over fast scanning", clicking it does nothing and i am the only Admin that uses the console. People are complianing their pc's come to a complete halt when doign a scheduled scan and i agree, my own PC with a Xeon cant even cope! There has been so many issues with webroot the past year that its becoming a joke among my fellow IT-Sec-SysAdmin buddies that i talk to, do an update, reboot end up with 1000 rundll32.dll process running!. Installed via script.... Took master GSM portal keycode rather than Site Keycode.... Machines installed with Webroot but not visible in Management Portal. On machine level, Webroot console is not visible, Policy applied to not show the Webroot console on machine level. how to uninstall Or swap those keycodes...???

Webroot console is not available on the machine... Machine is installed with Webroot but not visible in Web portal.... Cannot change policy.... Cannot change keycode... How to make it visible under proper client...????

So,.....I cannot get into my Password manager for a while now, so I cannot access some sites no matter what I do because I didn't write all those fancy generated passwords down. I have proposals to write and no access. blah! I wondered why no one answered here for a while, but I had been banned for most of the last several weeks I have been in the community, because the "AI" thought I was a spammer. Despite my 1st ever question in the community being legitimate and needed. So far, NOT impressed at all. Thinking I should just drop my 13/14 year association with Webroot and find a good service. Very grumpy. I get I shouldn't have relaxed with my passwords. You always account for system fails and I didn't.

If a file was incorrectly detected as bad and quarantined by the Webroot SecureAnywhere product, there are multiple options available to the business admin in order to reverse the False Positive detection and restore the files that were quarantined.   Option 1:  Restore Point If you are running in an Active Directory environment and have recent restore points for the affected machines, it is recommend to create a script to roll these machines back to a time prior to the issue.   Option 2: Access to Client (Agents MUST be in an unmanaged policy for this option) If you can access the affected client machines and launch the Webroot GUI then restore the files from quarantine on the clients. This should restore the machine to a state prior to the issue. For detailed steps on how to move a machine to an unmanaged policy to restore the files, 

I recently purchased additional time on my subscription, but continue to get an expiration warning. Is there a way I can fix this. When I double-click on the Webroot icon in the lower right tray, the Webroot  page comes up saying I have the new subscription. It has the correct info. I would appreciate advice! Thank you.  jax

Running on a 2016 macbook pro, running Windows 10 in a Parallels VM When I run a scan on the win10 VM, it say's everything is clean When I shut down Win10 VM and run scan on Mac, it says everything is clean When I start up the Win10 VM and run scan on Mac, it finds viruses on Win10 volume. All of the files are .mui extension files. My questions are: Are these false alarms? If not, can I trust Webroot for Windows to find viruses? s.

Hello. I'm using an Orbi RBK 53 mesh router for my home WiFi. Multiple Windows PCs, iOS mobile devices, smart TV, and other IoT devices are attached by either ethernet or Wifi connection. Some questions. 1) ls Webroot Wifi Security VPN completely compatible with the Orbi Mesh system when the Webroot VPN app is installed on PCs and mobile devices attached to the Internet through the Orbi router? 2) Can Webroot WiFi Security VPN be installed on the router system to protect devices attached to the Internet through the Orbi mesh router, when the devices do not themselves have the Webroot VPN app installed on them? 3) Does Webroot WiFi Security VPN have the ability to designated or purchase a dedicated IPN address for a VPN server? 4) Does the Webroot WiFi VPN use OpenVPN? Sometimes when I unlock my phone my browser will automatically pull up a website called "livemobile search". I first thought it was adware so I bought a subscription to webroot but I've scanned my phone a few times and nothing came up, anyone know what's wrong? Hi there, When login into my webroot account I can not access my password Manager. Mobile(android) I ll get the message, please check your Internet connection. Desktop pc I ll get the message it can be loaded error message appears. I don't have webroot for a long time but a few things are not working. The back up option takes a loooooong time. I have a Dell Desktop Computer, I received an email from someone stating they were going to hold my computer ransom, it showed the email that it was sent and received from my email address. I was also on my phone had plans to go to the police, just before I started to go into the station I looked and the email had disappeared. Hey there everyone, I'm sure this has been answered before but I can't seem to make sense of the other answers so I'm just going to post because for the life of me the steps on the older post make zero sense to me so someone please help! SeccureAnywhere is now showing App Suggestions in the Notification area????? WTH - How are these notifications turn off???? - I did not purchase an Antivirus to be served ADS!!!!!!!!!! I rec'd 2 notifications (within a couple of days of each other) from AT&T, our internet provider. that my desktop had been infected with malware. "gozi". I did a Windows Defender scan and a Webroot scan and no malware was detected. What is my next step?
