I can't renew. There's a network error contacting the server message. Why? Solution?? I have tried for 3 days and still I am blocked.

I have "cleared" history several times, but one web page always comes up when I open webroot Always the same web page, and not the last web site I was one.

We've been running the VPN software on our Android phones and three computers for a few weeks now. On one laptop computer, we simply uninstalled it. It caused too many directly attributable connection problems, whether because it was incompatible with the computer, our wifi, or our Internet provider is unknown . It's working okay on another laptop. That one laptop gives me hope. 😉 On my desktop it is simply causing more and more problems that are clearly latency-related. Latency within the computer and network latency. I've proved it to myself by running identical software with and without the VPN, and trying the same connections within the same short time frames with and without the VPN running. The Webroot ratings on my Google searches have always worked fine until today. When it was working I would get a green circle informing me that the website I'm about to go to is okay, but now I get a gray circle and when I hover over it I get a "Rating temporarily unavailable...." message. Is there a system-wide Webroot problem or should I be doing something to restore the ratings? Please advise. Thanks. Tom

One hour later and I'm still unable to download WebRoot on my iPad. Nothing should be this hard. I followed the instructions to the letter and still, nada. I give up. I've had Webroot on my PC for years, the mobile devices will have to find another solution. This is ridiculous.

My android cellphone (Stylo F1) is being repeatedly infected with malware. There appear to be 2 related malware "apps": "Magic" and "Settings". I have Webroot Secure Anywhere Mobile installed on this phone with all the recommended settings set. Webroot finds and identifies both "apps" and quarentines them both, but they keep on returning even after Webroot has deleted them. I have tried a clean factory reset/reinstal but the two malware apps returned immediately. After the factory reset Webroot immediately found "Magic", but not "Settings". Webroot quarantines "Magic" and asks me to delete it, which I do, but it keeps returning. Webroot identifies "Magic" as "AndroidScanner1.bad". Magic autonomously opens Google Chrome browser and links to a random website but will not allow the phone to respond to any commands thereafter. The malware called "Settings" is particularly troublesome because plays havoc with the phone's settings and it looks identical to the standard "Settings" app on the

Hi, I'm currently using Norton and am growing to hate it, used and loved Bitdefender for years until it became buggy and started acting like malware. Have used McAfee, won't go near Kaspersky. I have used Webroot in the past and left it but don't remember why. So how is Webroot's performance hit these days ? How is the protection compared to BD and Kas which always seem to score the highest in testing ? Browser protection strong ? I have 82 days left on my Norton ten seat license but may bail before then. So is Webroot worth using these days ? Thanks for your honest opinions. 🙂

As the PW fiasco enters its umpteenth Month of non existence, has it entered the minds of the suits and skirts in the front office, just exactly how they plan on"making whole" their thousands upon thousands of paying customers who are to this day, still disgusted due to the lack of this " feature " still being touted on the Webroot website? Offering a " feature " in a paid subscription that hasn't been available for Months is pretty rude Webroot!

I have suspicious notifications popping up from "www.mp3juices.cc" I think this began when I was hunting some sound clips for a film project and must have downloaded something sketchy unawares. OOPS. Now I'm getting notifications with scantily clad women and also notes that say "System infected! Click here to clean up!" in various versions. Webroot has done its scan and finds nothing. However, it's obvious there is malware. What can I do? Do I need a different software to find this?

My problem: I bought my Webroot Anywhere for 3 devices from Best Buy. They cleaned 1 computer, I purchased a new Laptop computer and they put Webroot Anywhere program on both. I went to Best Buy with my Laptop and discussed my issues with not being able to access my Account Console or my Password manager. My Account when I access it from Webroot is as if I don't have anything being protected. The Tech told me, because of many issues I was having, it would be easier to let my Webroot subscription expire and then purchase a new subscription. The Tech assured me my computers were being protected but that I would not be able to access my console or password manager. Should I do this, and let best Buy do a new Webroot install?

Every time I open WEBROOT on my PC, I get a popup in the lower RH screen telling me to review how well WEBROOT has protected me. After I do the review, I still get the popup. Can this be turned off?

I've noticed an issue where the override database isn't updating on all my endpoints. There doesn't appear to be any relation as to which endpoints don't get updated. It could be an old or new OS. Updating the override database in the console doesn't make the endpoints refresh their Ovr.db files. Due to this, using the override database is almost useless. I have no way to force the Ovr.db file to refresh, except a complete reinstall, and doing that to all my endpoints every time I make a change just isn't an option. Location of Ovr.db file: Older Windows OS: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\WRData\ Newer Windows OS: C:\ProgramData\WRData\ Today is 1/14/2019, so my endpoints should have Ovr.db files dated 1/13/2019 or 1/14/2019. I can not access trusted websites and can not launch a new internet window since loading and activation my new Webroot SA Internet Security Complete. For several years I have used Webroot SA Internet Security Plus without any internet access issues. This is very frustrating and I can not locate any trouble shooting tips on the Webroot site(s).

Well I just bought this internet security for my laptop and phone. I've followed all of the instructions, clicked all of the internet links provided by email, filled out the form to register and create an account... but for the life of me... it keeps kicking me out and saying that my email is not yet confirmed; and, it won't let me log in after i created the account. Hmmmmmm! I'm confused here ya'll. Same thing happened when I did what the paper said to do to download and activate on my phone. WTH??? I don't get it! I'm new to VPN and the WiFi Security product. I just installed it yesterday and have tried to torrent in safety. Each torrent site I've tried gives me the "This Site Can't be Reached" error. I''m using the Automatic Location connection. What do I need to do to be able to connect to torrent sites?
