Bought a new subscription last Friday and today I had still 11 days to go by the previous one. After activation with the new code, I can see 365 days of the new subscription period and it looks like I lost 11 days of the previous one. In past years it was easy to extend it and now I can not find this option anywhere. When I click on Get Started thing next to the big blue info circle in Webroot window the error 404 shows up: [h4]The page you are looking for was moved, retired, or you have a bad link.[/h4] Why is that?

Hi community. I just received an email from my business email to my business email from some jerk saying he has access to my computer and if I don't pay $796 to his bitcoin address he will distribute a video of me whilst visiting an adult site. I don't visit adult sites so I'm not bothered about any video, but I am concerned the email came from my business email address. I have webroot installed on my laptop and just did a scan and it removed 1 threat and says there are no active threats. Should I be concerned at this email coming from my own business account? Any help would be appreciated.

All of a sudden I just had a pop up that said my pc had a virus and the Message claim it was from Microsoft Tech. I believe it was a scam said to call 1-844-789-6976.

I received a notice when opening webroot that my subscription was running out. I knew this was coming I could see the days counting down on the screen. About the same time I received an e-mail from Best Buy/ Geek Squad to renew it. So I did and got a confirmation e-mail last week telling me my plan has been updated. However there is no indication on my webroot screen that anything has been renewed its still warning me my subscription is going to expire in 23 days. This is the first time I renewed with webroot others I've dealt with in the past renewed immediately adding to my existing time left on my subscription. Could someone offer some info on how webroot subscriptions work. Do they normally runout and then renew or should they renew as soon as I update??

We are on a paid subscription and still getting familiar with the Webroot platform and so far it has been pleasant from acquiring new licenses and deploying to managing it. The 1 site I have default SecureAnywhere DNS High Protection policy enabled are showing the Windows workstations as having no internet. They are online and are able to access some websites. As some of the end users explained it: "Some sites dont load, other times it takes long time for some sites to load" I'm sure I'll need to be adding some work-related sites to white-list but Im concerned that this default policy is causing Windows to show the computer is not connected to the internet. Is there a policy setting I need to change or maybe the agents arent functioning properly and need reinstall?

I purchased a new computer and Total Tech Support from Best Buy. As part of that purchase, I received a new Webroot SecureAnywhere license that will cover 10 pcs. My old license expired. Now both licenses appear on my Webroot SecureAnywhere Web Console. I want to remove the old expired one so that only my current and active license and information is displayed.

Hi all, just a quick question about what I been noticing all of a sudden in my browser and wanted to make sure that it wasn’t a problem. Had a couple instances where I haven’t been getting back any search results close to what I was searching for and happened to notice that this was in the url. Can someone tell me if this is anything? My original search was for UPnP Name ProductAgent for Windows. Thanks in advance for the help.

how can I remove a site created on webroot secureanywhere previously disabled

Immediately upon downloading Webroot I was no longer able to open any of my Word Documents. After cursing a lot and asking for customer support, I redownloaded Webroot Secure Anywhere. Still didn't work. After unsuccessfully trying to uninstall Webroot, after four hours my Word documents suddenly gained their names beside their icons, and I could open them, but I had to move word files off Desktop to be able to open them. Several hours later I open my computer and Microsoft Word won't work at all and I cannot open any documents. My grandson's online computer game lost a ton of stuff: Major tantrums. I've spent hours on this. As far as I'm concerned Webroot is the worst piece of malware I've encountered in my decades of doing computers. Why is their time stamp for customer support messaging hours off from time sent? Right now my computer is just a chunk of plastic. Can't uninstall this crap and customer support won't help. Need desperately to work but can't access my files.

a second house computer was used to visit a porn site and afterwards several fake alerts have popped up. I read how to fix that but i want to know why scanning with Webroot Secure Anywhere DOES NOT CATCH AND CLEAN THAT. I mean, isn't that what we are buying? I love Webroot, would not go elsewhere but this apparent weakness bugs me (PUN ALERT LOL!).

Webroot comes highly recommended and I am thinking of purchasing the same. I have understood why its footprint is so small compared to other programs in this genre. What I need to know is, if I am not online (which would be quite frequent) and as an educator I insert pen drives from students to check their research work/presentations. If any one these removeable drives has a virus would my notebook be vulnerable to infection since I am offline Is Webroot reactive(rather than proactive) In such situations ? and given my nature of occupation, is this the right program for me ? Why would webroot charge more for the update then getting it in the big box store? Why would they let customers slip away? In addition I purchased it at Wally World for almost 40% less (same coverage). After entering the new code by hand , it shows the new code but it also states subscription expired...so I call Webroot and I am told that I should delete the program and re -enter it because the software that wally world is different! Really??? they why is "internet Security Plus" written on the box that YOU distribute? Maybe it should say " Internet security plus...but different" . Last year with webroot, too bad they could make it a lot easier for dummies like me and distribute the SAME SOFTWARE.
