Getting a message that either my username or password is incorrect. When I submit for a new password to be emailed to me, the email from webroot never comes. This has been going on for 10 days.How can I contact webroot directly?

bought webroot protection , DOES NOT WORK for MacOS Catalina. Webroot acknowledges this and stated “fix” should take two(2) weeks….been 5 weeks now! want full refund now!!!!!!I am not a lending institution and want my money back, I paid for a product that did not do as described.

I have Windows 10 and keep getting the Renewal reminder from Webroot even though I’ve purchased my new renewal and installed the software again with my new security key.  I want to make sure its properly installed and also remove these announcements.  

I’ve been a Webroot customer for many years and never had any problems until now.I was seeing a “webroot agent is shutdown...” message and followed the uninstall/reinstall instructions. But the character-box kept giving me an error message.How can I remove Webroot from my computer and terminate my service for now?Mabey I’ll resubscribe in the future. Thank you.

I didn’t have any problems adding the 4 desktop pc’s to my webroot console. I’m having quite a problem adding my mobile device. From any desktop when I try to add my mobile all I get are instructions for doing so. I’ve even logged into the console from my mobile and I get the same thing. I can’t add the mobile device, all I can do is read instructions on how to do it. Please help.

Several of my own websites show Orange on webroot, I’m not savvy like some of you. Is there a way I can I use webroot to determine where or why those sites are orange so we can fix what is wrong?

I was experimenting with my laptop and PC using PC Security Commands. I was trying to restart/shut down my laptop with my PC using the Security Commands.  I had a laptop stolen recently and wanted to use the Lock PC Command to disable it.  The commands don’t seem to work.  Why are they there Then? 

I’m getting this message: “Do you want the application “Proudsearch” to accept incoming network connections?” I can’t find any info about this. Is it some kind of malware?   

I am currently using McAfee and Norton. I am having issues with McAfee as it shows down my system a lot. Should I buy Webroot and run it alongside Norton? Would that be fine? I read a detailed comparison of McAFee and Norton. I personally believe Norton is better and I want to keep it and run it with Webroot. Can you guys tell me what differences it might create on my system performance? Looking for answers. I am confused.

Hello.I have WiFi on my home PC. On the Network Properties Option (Public or Private) I’m pretty sure selecting Private would be best for me, but I’m not sure.I don’t want any neighbors being able to “discover” my PC, and have no desire for file sharing. I’m thinking the “Private” selection would make sense and be the choice.Do I have that right?Why would anyone operating on a home PC select a Public Network option.Thanks,Overwhelmed 

I bought a new HP laptop at best buy yesterday, along with webroot protection. When I tried to install the webroot it said that I could not install because my laptop had been compromised. Before I knew there was this guy telling me that my laptop had been infected by trojan horses when I connected to my wifi. He spent two hours cleaning my new laptop and supposedly everything else that was connected to my wifi. He then said that it would cost me $299,99 which got charged to my credit card. He was from  something called startech hub  / sns technologies, and seemed like he was very competent, but we have no idea what just happened and are a little anxious about the whole thing.Webroot did end up getting installed, and the laptop works perfectly, which was the whole idea, but it was not what I was expecting, and I don’t quite understand it. Has anyone else experienced this ?  

Does Webroot automatically protect me on all search engines or must I inform them of what new ones I use?

My husband renewed Webroot for me although I had switched to Avast after restoring my computer. Well, I have some issues with Avast so I thought I'd switch back to Webroot. I tried to download the software, but it asks for a keycode, which wasn't sent me in the activation e-mail. The only way to find your keycode seems to be by looking in the software. So, what do I do?

I have used Webroot's anti-virus software for a long time. My license is expiring so I purchased a one year, three computer Webroot Anti-Virus DVD from Amazon. Amazon described the software as the 2019 version but what arrived appears to be the 2017 software due to the copyright date and the package cover which shows that the software was a PC Magazine choice 19 times while the latest package shows it was an Editor's Choice 21 times. So, if I install the 2017 software sent to me by Amazon, will it automatically upgrade to the 2019 version of the software or will I be missing features of the newest anti-virus software? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Dave

I signed up and entered a password. Once I get into my account, I find it impossible to figure out how to install webroot ( click install and I get nowwhere - also click all over the page and it won't work) Finally, i can't get my keycode) Help

I'm getting lots of ads with reference to: "mhygig.com". I think it may have something that got added to my Google browser? When I run "Malwarebites", it goes away, but comes back. Ideas?

A screen pops up on my desktop saying its an emergency and my computer is going to crash unless I call a phone number for help. There is also with the screen appearing, a beeping sound from the computer itself that further enhances the panic. My wife is not computer savy so she called the number and gave them access to the computer before I came home and shut it down. Staqrted up ok the next day and no sign of the screen or the beep, but I am wondering if they put something there that gives them info going forward. What should I do? Do I need to totally wipe and re-install? How did this get by Webroot's screening? No detection by Webroot at all.

Hi all, Thanks for taking the time to read this. I'm sure this is a simple question with a simple answer but I didn't see it listed. Im going to be upgrading my OS from Windows 8 to 8.1. Since the update is not supported in the App Store anymore I'll need too do a clean install which will wipe the old data and computer profile. Will I still be able to apply my webroot subscription to my computer with the new OS? I already have 3 devices on my account so adding it as a new PC is not an option. Thanks for any help 🙂
