 [ Link Removed ~ PTD] has the Webroot warning. Can someone help me get this verified and the warning removed? 

Hi,I installed Game Maker (https://gamemaker.io/en). During the installation, a Webroot threat window came up blocking the file zip2exe.exe.Apparently, it’s a file required to compile games made in Game Maker as standalone executables.Any help with resolving this is appreciated.Thanks.

hello, I am not sure this is the correct place to ask but i am getting nowhere with general support  it keeps looping to the main webroot page when they send me a email address and password to log in. anyways the issue is i have an account somewhere with webroot not sure becuase i have not used it in a while under a gmail account that has been compromised on the dark web. I need to confirm if this email is still in use and have it deleted. please assist if any thanks

How do I remove old obsolete PCs from my account. My dashboard shows PCs I no longer own.

Lately Webroot has been detecting printdialog.exe as a trojan virus. All certificates, date stamps check out as Microsoft’s software. Windows 11 not to long ago changed the print structure. Has anyone else run across this issue?Thank you ...

For about a week I have not been able to connect my  Android phone or my pc to the VPN.  Never had a problem before.  Any recommendations please?  Mike

When I go to view active connections and put my cursor on processes some will highlight in yellow and some dont.  Anything that highlighted in yellow I blocked.  I dont understand this.  I was hacked a month or so ago and totally reset this laptop back to factory settings.  Not sure what these are.

 I’ve used Webroot for years - happily.  Within the last week, the full scan seems to take about twice as long, around 10 minutes instead of 4-5 minutes.  I am wondering: Is a file of suspect websites and other scanning match targets kept on my home PC, or  Are the match targets kept on the Webroot server?This morning’s scan said something like “using Webroot database.”  I have never noticed that wording before.   I glanced at my residential gateway (modem) and the fiber-to-local converter box, and both indicated high activity - lots of flashing green lights.  I interpret this to mean that files on my PC are being compared to the Webroot server, not to a file kept on my home PC.Recently I added Visual Studio to my PC, and one or two other software items that suddenly seem to be taking up a lot of space.  (I’m doing a lot of  personal training using LinkedIn Learning, and in some cases downloading LIL’s provided example tiles.)

I can’t log into the identity portal this morning. Also, the web threat shield isn’t working. I just get the grey flower icon, no green check. Anyone else?

As of early this morning, my webroot extension stopped working on edge.  This has happened in the past and it was because of a change in edge programming that webroot needed a fix for.  Is that happening again?

I have a windows 10 PC, that I use to develop some own applications in Delphi 12.Since about a month ago, Webroot started causing problems with the EXEs that I build using Delphi 12. When linker tries to create an EXE, Webroot blocks access to this file, if it existed before. Thie means that everytime I want to create a new build of an existing application, I first need to either delete the old EXE, or to shut down Webroot to be able to create a new version of this EXE.Old versions of Webroot had the ability to exclude directories. That was useful in my case.Also, Webroot started to interfere about a month ago, I never had this trouble before, and I am using Webroot since 2015.I am seriously considering swotching to another antivirus software, if this problem can’t be resolved.Also, I tried to open a  support ticket, but whenever I input my email address and click “Continue”, it just takes me to my Webroot console.

I just installed Webroot into my laptop, but I need it on my smart phone and Kindle. I don't know how to do that. Any suggestions?

I keep getting a  CAPTCHA box that pops up from Webroot.  It appears for less than a second over top of whatever I’m working on then goes away.  This occurs with varying frequency - sometimes every minute or so.  When it happens, whatever I'm working on stops and sometimes minimizes.  How do I get rid of this?

New to Webroot;  I have 3 subscriptions (laptop/desktop/android) but when I log into my account, only 2 subscriptions are recorded.  I can do a scan on all 3.  I need to feel confident that I have coverage on all 3.  Where/How do I go to find this info.  Thanks.

How does one go about escalating a support case?We have endpoints that have completely vanished from our GSM console, and support is non-responsive.(Endpoints are not visible even in the “Deactivated” group)I can’t tell if these endpoints have protection or not, much less what happened and why they have gone missing. I’ve pleaded with support for escalation and I’m given a boilerplate response of “Our backend team is investigating”.(It’s been a week)I’ve also requested the audit logs for the site where the endpoints have gone missing, but I’m still waiting. I’ve asked for a manager to call me, and I’ve asked for escalation.No matter what I do, I can’t seem to get any movement on this.How do I get support with Webroot?

I keep getting this error message and this is after a fresh reformat + reinstall of Windows 7. I can't find the picture of the error message either.  I'll keep looking.  It may be a virus in the bios preventing webroot from installing since this is a fresh install of windows 7 with hard drive reformat.  

Hello, I’m wondering how big the protection gap or module difference is between Webroot Home and Business Products. In particular I read a lot of announcements around the Evasion Shield (AMSI and Script) scanner and the Foreign Code Shields (suspicious execution patterns) announced back in 2020 and 2021 respectively. Reading through release notes looks like an Anti-Ransomware module is getting pretty close to release as well in 2024 but all 3 of these seem to be for the Business products only.Does the Home Editions contain (or will contain) these additional shields soon?Script Shield has toggle but I assume that is for an older script scanning technology that doesn’t have the more advanced hooks into AMSI like the newer Evasion Shield or am I wrong? Is there a plan to add the more capable Evasion Shield at some point even if disabled to start to avoid false positives? Foreign Code Shield - is this also a Business only Shield? I don’t see any

I have an authentication code which I have used before. When asking for the code I am getting the dialog below. When I enter the whole code it says its invalid. Googling seems to imply I should be getting asked for specific letters/numbers, eg, enter SECOND… FOURTH letter. What can I do, I have tried 2 browser, chrome and firefox and both with same results
