Hi, my name is Bill and have used Webroot for several years.  Recently I installed Ninite Updater and during one of its initial checks I think I had Webroot block its attempt to update.  I was able to undo that at the time but have forgotten what I did.  Now I can only briefly shut down the firewall to allow it to update and then turn the firewall back on.  I guess I need to know what I did before and how to deal with this in the future.  Did I mention I am 62? I have had Webroot SecureAnywhere Complete for about two weeks.  So far, it has been good.  I do have a question I can't find the answer to, I have looked in the user guide, on the forum etc.    When the software blocks a website because it is classified as malicious, a message and a screen appears and the only option I can select  is to continue.    The message is orange on black.  What do I do to leave this site I have been signing off the internet.   I hope I have explained this well enough.  I would appreciate any help.

Microsoft confirmed today it will support HTTPS Strict Transport Protocol (HSTS) in Internet Explorer 12, bringing its browser in line with other major vendors in its support of the protocol.   Browsers supporting HSTS force any sessions sent over HTTP to be sent instead over HTTPS, encrypting communication to and from a website.   According to OWASP, HSTS protects users from a number of threats, in particular man-in-the-middle attacks by not only forcing encrypted sessions, but also stopping attackers who use invalid digital certificates. The protocol denies users the ability to override invalid certificate messages. HSTS also protects users from HTTPS websites that also may include HTTP links or serve content unencrypted. Hello,   I'm Mike from Ohio.  I've been using Webroot for our home PC for several years now and really like it.  However, I have a question...maybe a concern.   Originally, I purchased "standard" Webroot (shows as a purple icon with a green-yellow-orange-red dot inside indicating status of the updates).  Then, after being offered an upgrade to Webroot Secure Anywhere, I opted to upgrade and use that product.  For the longest time, the two products co-existed on my PC.  Within the last couple of days, the original Webroot icon will no longer update itself and show a "green" dot indicating that it's fully up-to-date...the dot only shows "red" -- I'm guessing a very bad sign.   The Webroot Secure Anywhere window continues to show that I'm protected and there are no active threats on/against my PC.  Should I be concerned?  Should both products be on my PC at the same time?  Any help is much apprectia
