Sorry to say that since joining the community my computer has been out of action.  Only 3 years old and the darn Hard Drive decided to start to fail. Great fun ever since getting things up and running again. That includes having to learn a new OP, new version of Office, etc.  plus what felt like millions of updates from Microsoft. At least the one program that was absolutely no hassle to deal with was Webroot Secure Anywhere Essentials. The whole thing has taken me almost two weeks to get computer fixed, then get everything back on, updated, and all tweaked to run the way I want them to. Hello Community,   I have been with Webroot as a technician for about 2 months now, and enjoying every minute of it. I would like to add that the product that is offered is a step into the future.   So enough about Webroot and more about me now since this is introduction threads. I am a College graduate from DeVry University. My degree is Bachelor's in Computer Information Systems (CIS) with a web design major. I am currently attending Keller University while keeping my full time job with webroot in the journey of a Master's in Business Administration (MBA)   I enjoy free time with friends and family and like to make life as simple as needed.

My name is Soren,and I live in Copenhagen,Denmark.Some time ago (just before the new SecureAnywhere went public,I bought a new computer,and with it,a 2 year licens to PrevX .3.220 with SOL.Of course I would like to upgrade it to SA,but I have tried to write 3 different places now,I nobody write back.Can somebody please help me with this? Can I use my PrevX licens (511 days left) to the new SA? When I asked long time ago in Wilders,I got the answer from (I think he is called Tripple Helix?) that it was a question about time,and that we PrevX owners would get an answer soon.But thats a long time ago,and I really would like to get this solved now? I'm cddude from Iowa. I have use webroot for many years and have gotten several of my friends to use it also. I'm retired and on my PC many hours a day. I'm a sounding board for a lot of my golfing friends with computors. This year webroot's program did not overwite last years. So I had to delete it my self. I told Webroot people and they said they were working on that problem.Have not heard of the results. by for now.

Hi all, Just want to add my praises to Webroot. Sorry for the long post, but thought you should understand why Webroot is heaven sent for me. No internet security suite would work on my PC. I had been using Kaspersky Internet Security for years (even though it was painful to live with) but kaspersky Internet Security support ran out on 31Dec2011 and it stopped working. Then I went on a mission trying Kaspersky Internet Security 2012, Norton Internet Security 2012, F-Secure Internet Security, Trend Micro Titanium Internet Security 2012 - some would not install and rolled back, others could not validate the subscription key.   it was then my ISP suggested remote assistance (which I had to pay for) but after 12 sessions over some 55 hours involving 62 PC reboots they could not resolve the problem. So my PC was written off as being too old (hardware is 8 years, and software Win XP Pro SP3) - I was advised to scrap it and buy a more up to date PC. Reason I have

Hello,   I am testing the SecureAnywhere Endpoint product. I selected to be alerted "immediately" when there is a detection, and then I downloaded the EICAR test file. The file was detected and removed, but I don't see any detections listed in the console and I did not receive an email. How is detection data reported back to the console, and when should i expect to be notified in the event of a detection?

Just an interesting article, I am not really for or against, just an interesting concept. As with all tech, it may go no where or it might actually gain some traction. Anyone know how to get rid of the search browser hijacker?  It is search-milk.net.    I downloaded Webroot Anywhere 2012 last week, but I can't get it to find it...wondering if it I need an additional program from Webroot?    The reading I have done thus far, has said this is a bad malware/spyware program.    Help.
