webroot stays open in the doc. i close it that at some point it stays open again.

So I had bought my webroot off of GeekSquad, and I went onto the official webroot website, entered my keycode, and it directed me to the best buy website. It showed the order and that I am logged into my best buy account. This is how you renew it right? Or am I doing something wrong.

My subscription is expiring in 18 days. How do I renew it? Thanks.

Hello,I an currently using windows 10 pro and MS edge and  successfully sign to the webroot community forum but after follow steps using the same email address and password I am unable to login to my.webrootanywhere.com.The error I get is always username and password does not match but I am sure it is correct. I have tried clearing my cache and cookies and still the same.How do you fix this?  To log in to your account in the SecureAnywhere website:Open your browser to the SecureAnywhere website at my.webrootanywhere.com. In the Log in window, enter the email address and password you specified when you registered. Click the Log

Just noticed Webroot threat shield not working properly AGAIN!!  This is so annoying and I never had this problem with other anti-virus programs until I got Webroot.  Last time this happened, I was told to do a complete reinstall by someone here which I didn’t feel comfortable doing. Luckily, I contacted Webroot Technical Support directly first and they said there was actually an issue with the Google Search Engine which was causing this and they were aware of it and it did resolve itself as they said it would. Now I have the same problem again - first I had spinning circles, then it appeared to work again, and now nothing appears next to search result entries.  I contacted the Technical Support again hoping it was a Google issue again, but they had me run a WSA Log which I did and then they told me to uninstall and reinstall which I don’t want to do.  I don’t understand why there is not an easier fix for such a small issue. Am attempting to install iTunes 14.7 on a Windows 10 PC but get the error in the description above. Apple says to try a lot of things, and one of them involves looking into my anti-virus software. Has anyone had any issues in this area?Thank You, Bob

I recently got on my computer that uses webroot and noticed that two more processes for it show up in task manager (making 6 in total with the ones that would normally run before). These only started up after a few minutes, I was able to run a scan and do a few other things before they popped up. The processes seem to be for WRSvcHost, so guess I am asking if these should be running and if anyone else has them currently? I checked other posts on here but only saw them mentioned for beta testing a couple months ago. This was also in refrence to the beta for version .75, the version I’m currently running is .62

As a new participant, why isn’t my Automatic Location feature connecting?  I’m not certain I’m functioning properly yet.

I couldn’t find a way to uninstall the app I was trying to fix. I used the option for Webroot to delete the program. Now I’m not able to download the app to reinstall it.I’m using Windows 10. The app is called Aimersoft DRM Media Converter.

Hello, I was wondering if someone could help me.  Some weird things have been happening to one of our kids school computers.nightly a window of our files pops up even when it is sleeping one time an inappropriate pop up popped up everytime i log on to the computer 2 edge windows pop up automatically.Web root does not show any viruses on the computer.  All windows updates have been installed. Thank you for any help repairing the problem.T

I downloaded and ran: SNIP which wasn’t able to deleteWRData folder.  I uninstall Webroot, rebooted and tried uninstalling WRData manually from the %programdata%folder but received a message that it couldn’t be removed because it was in use by another people.Now, neither "scan individual file" or "erase file with Webroot" is working.I've used Webroot for years and this has never before happened.

Twice I’ve had ransomware pop up...luckily I know how to clear it...task manager>browser>end taskI thought I was protected Webroot Secure Anywhere...I have Win 10 which has ransomware protection ..but is off when using another antivirus

I am no longer a Webroot user. I uninstalled the program but whenever I open Firefox, a new tab will popup wanting me to enter a keycode. I don’t know how to get rid of the additional tab that keeps popping up. Any help?jforce

During scan after about a minute it says it can not reach internet.

I’m being asked for authentication code, but I never receive one.  System won’t let me open a online ticket. Phone support says I could be on hold for an hour.  Anyone know a solution or can recommend another company?

After renewing the Webroot subscription, dashboard still shows “Subscription - Expired” .  How do I know that I am getting the latest tool for malware scans and on?  The Webroot still scans; it does not detect potential rootkits malware or others.

I have followed the directions that are given to change my user name, but I cannot find it, I have changed my avatar, but I cannot change my user name. Any help would be much appreciated.
