Webroot Mobile

Webroot Secure Anywhere was working on my Samsung android until this morning. I received a message saying “information has not been verified yet”. When I clicked on it, the message said “can’t open this page”. After trying to restore my phone and  uninstalling/reinstalling Webroot, the problem still exists - basically I cannot sign on/activate it on my phone. I also checked Webroot on my laptop and it works fine. Any help would be appreciated.

I downloaded the webroot app on my Google Pixel 4a(5G) running Andoird 13 I go to create an account but it wants a keycode to create an account. How do I get a keycode before creating an account. Typically software works like this… Create account → Purchase Product → Get keycode → Enter keycode → Activate product. This app is asking me for what normally happens in step four but wants it in step one before I even have an account. Where do I get this keycode to create an account? There are no instructions in the app.

Webroot mobile used to have a security app and a browser app.  I never used the browser since everything I have is synced to Vivladi.  Webroor security was alwys running on my phone.  Now it appears that the security and the browser have been merged into one app and my android phone is only secure when I use the Webroot Browser. Since everything I have is synced to Vivaldi, I don’t want the Webroot browser.  Now this once useful app is useless.  Since Webroot was gobbled up by Carbonite it has ceased to be what it once was.  After over ten years when my subscription expires I will sadly being saying good bye to Webroot. 

I got a notification that SecureAnywhere is being discontinued and being replaced with Webroot Mobile Security, I went through the new installation process where it removes the old app and installs the new. I didn't remove the old app (even though its not there) I'm still getting secureanywhere notifications to upgrade to the new app when I already have it on my phone. So I uninstalled the new one, set the permission to secureanywhere off and I'm still getting secureanywhere notification with no webroot app on my andriod phone. I hate the new app and it crashes often, telling me that in a notifiaction. I totally hate the new interface and what little control I have on my phone now. How can I totally remove it from my phone I no longer want to run the mobile app. I want it completely gone off my phone. I will still run the desktop app one since I like the easy interface and both my PC's are protecte

How can I completely close my account and so that I can stop getting upgrade notices on my phone that don’t work?  I literally get a notice every 5 or 6 minutes and following the upgrade instructions goes to a broken link. If WebRoot cannot get a simple upgrade to work then how can I trust them to provide security for my devices? I’m not the only one with problems because numerous people have left one star reviews of the phone app over the last few weeks and Webroot has obviously not addressed the issue.

I enabled webroot to use Lastpass authenticator. When I got a new phone webroot info did not transfer in the Lastpass authenticator app.  I do not have a secret code to start over because I can not access my webroot account.  Where do I go from here?

get an note important update available from secureanywhere.  I click on continueit takes me to get the new app, i click on that shows webroot mobile security.  I select open, then get the option to uninstall old app.  I select that and say ok to unistall app, it doesn’t do anything just sits there

How do I encorporate DDGo into the nrwy Webroot android mobile security browser? 

I have Webroot Secure Anywhere installed on my Android phone (Samsung A30S). When I access the app, it tells me the current version is being retired and I need upgrade to Webroot Mobile Security. Offers a Keycode and a link to the app store. However, when I click on the link, it says "This item is not available in your country". I am in Spain and I tried a VPN to the UK and the USA, but still get the same report. Please can you help me with this?

I just purchased WebRoot Wi-Fi Security and now have it operating on my home laptop.  Okay, now I want to put it on my Android smartphone.  I tried using the same message on my email but it says “unsuccessful” as far as downloading.  You all will have to pardon me, I’m really behind the times and, first, I don’t know if installing it on my smartphone is a Good Idea, Necessary, or a waste of time.  Can anyone out there offer some advice or a  FAQ link or something?  I’d be most appreciative  Thanks in advance.Oh - while we’re at it (and this’ll show just how much of a novice I am).  Does one have to restart the VPN upon reboot of the laptop?  Or does it do this automatically.  Thanks again.

I want to login to my webroot account from the Internet select my mobile phone so as to send it commands because it is lost.  However, the login sends me to a list of consoles and there are not any menu items to reach to mobile phone commands.  Furthermore, my mobile phone is not listed even though I set it up using the same keycode.How can I fix this problem so I can access the standard Webroot SecureAnywhere screen?

Hello, I have the Android Webroot SecureAnywhere Mobile Complete App (ver. 5.5.6.46428) installed on my Samsung phone.  Yesterday, I was helping my parents (83 & 85 years old) setup their new Motorola phones and was trying to download the Webroot SecureAnywhere Mobile Complete App, but couldn't find it in the Google PlayStore.  The only Webroot App I found is called Webroot Mobile Security (ver. 6.5.0).1.  Is the Webroot SecureAnywhere Mobile Complete App no longer supported?2.  Has it been replaced with the Webroot Mobile Security App?3.  Does the Webroot SecureAnywhere Mobile Complete App still function?  It seems to be running okay on my Samsung Phone?  It runs scans and shows the number of days remaining in my subscription okay.4.  What is the Webroot Mobile Security App?  Does it still run on demand scans of all files and Apps on Android phones?5.  It looks like it is only a web browser App that looks at the users browser activity when you use that App (Google Chrome)?6.  Does

  My cell phone was stolen. I have sent the wipe command but have not gotten confirmation that the phone received the wipe. I know that it will be sent as soon as anyone turns on the phone. Meanwhile I have ordered a new phone and I would like to transfer my tracfone minutes and phone number from the lost device to the new phone.   I am wondering if webroot needs the old phone to retain the old phone number and be an active device on my tracfone account and on my webroot account in order for the wipe command to work.   If someone tossed my phone into the trash after learning they could not access it, it may never be found but if it is found and someone charges it, I would like to be sure that the wipe occurs. If I transfer the lost phone number to a new phone and deactivate the lost device from my tracfone account, will the wipe still happen if the old phone is found?   Do I need to keep the lost device active on the webroot account? Hello Webroot! My colegue bought  a phone ALCALL android a month ago and in past  week is too slow, poping up some advertisments etc... I was wondering what problems is, and finally found some weird file .apk on the phone by manually searching the files.I check it on the internet and it seems it’s a Malware! It’s called “AduptsFota” and it’s downloading other malware which are making phone more slower as it is..  I immediately bought a licence and install Webroot Secure Anywhere Mobile on phone! Scanned the phone and it does found nothing! It says: “You are protected” Tried to delete it manually but it seems the file /application “AduptsFota” is integrated into a android system and there is no chance to delete it. Webroot doesn’t find anything still. I tried to root my phone to be able to do changes to my system, but unsuccesfull.  Can’t even connect phone to the PC, it cannot be found at all! Phone is charging and there is no option to put transfer files or smth like that, like in

Just bought upgrade from Amazon,  put in new code(on my android phone), appeared to work , but register screen says "free version, no expiration" and a banner on the bottom of the home screen says " upgrade to premiere version".  Since i paid for a 2 year subscription,  would like to not be using a " free" version Thanks in advanceRon

I have renewed my Webroot security on my laptop, but now would like to install on our I-pad we’ve had from past (my account allows up to 3 devices) I went to I-pad and downloaded App Webroot Secure and created account setup properly, etc…. However unlike my laptop whereby I have Webroot icon on menu bar how to I see or activate Webroot for the I-Pad?
