Assistance Needed: False Positive Flag on Business Platform URL by Webroot

Hello Webroot Community, I'm seeking advice on resolving a potential false positive issue with Webroot. Our platform, EvueMe Selection Robot, is an AI-powered recruitment solution trusted by multiple leading enterprises. Recently, our URLs (*.evueme.com, including specific subdomains like demo.evueme.com) were flagged as "malicious" by Webroot. We are confident that our platform adheres to high security standards and believe this may be an error. Could anyone from the Webroot team provide guidance on how to initiate a re-evaluation? Webroot SecureAnywhere Renewal Email

My subscription for Webroot SecureAnywhere renewal is coming up for renewal in a month and I am wondering if Webroot still sends out email about automatic renewals. It’s been awhile since I’ve seen emails from Webroot about anything.

My current subscription expires in two days. I have another another account that expires next July however the activation code doesn’t work. I mistakenly renewed a couple months early but regardless...activation code doesn’t work???

Webroot would not install on windows 10, nothing happens when installer is double clicked

Hi, I'm trying to install webroot, when I double click the installer, nothing happens. I've looked into the list of installed programs, and webroot is nowhere to be found, therefore there's nothing to uninstall. I've tried the installer 9.0.19.43 downloaded from other threads and had no luck. My operating system is Windows 10. Thank you

Current Software Version

Hello Everyone. So, Technically every time i want to check to see If I am running the latest Software, I should go to this Link, and Download the wainstall.exe file, Later Right Click- Properties-Details. The Link: https://anywhere.webrootcloudav.com/zerol/wsainstall.exe Current version is 9.036.40 Is that Correct??? Is that how you check for a new software ? Also, I noticed one of my computers is not showing when I go to Carbonite Webroote My Account CE 24.3, But when I open the Webnroot from that computer it shows it is protected Please let me know Thanks.

Wifi Security can't connect

My Wifi Security use to work fine. However, about a month ago after I renewed my subscription, it stopped working. when I attempted to log in, it says it can’t connect please check your internet connection and try again. My internet is working fine. this problem is true for my desktop and two laptops but works on my Android cell phone. Support has agreed that my connection is fine and they would let me know when it is fixed. that was 20 days ago. does anyone have any suggestions.

Wifi VPN

VPN not connecting, it says that I do not have an internet connection and has for some time now. I call Webroot and he said that they are having problems with VPN and would put me on the list to get updates when problem resolved. This has been some time ago and I still have not gotten any updated information. What is going on???

Is Webroot only available in 32-bit version?

Hi all, I have a 64-bit laptop, and quite recently I renewed my licence (after using another AV for sometime), and after downloading the application from the My Account website and upon instalation, I noticed under taskbar settings, is is displayed as 32-bit. In some forums, I have read people advising not to run 32-bit AV applications on 64 machines. I am no techincal guy, so would like to hear from anyone who is knowledgable about this subject area: Is Webroot only availbe in 32-bit version? Is it advisable to run as 32-bit AV on a 64-bit machine? (does it limit the app`s protection capabilities?)

Newly added computer not showing on new or old console

I started with Webroot installed on 3 computers, deactivated one so I could add a new one, everything all good w/that one. Some time later I deactivated another old computer so I could add back the one I had previously removed; Webroot back and running on the most recently added machine. Unfortunately, the most recently added computer does not appear on the new console or the old console. Furthermore, the new console says I have 9 machines covered(?), all but 3 of these have been deactivated but can’t make heads or tales of what’s going on here. The old console shows only 2 machines: 1 old desktop and my new laptop; the old laptop I most recently added back does not appear even though Webroot is definitely working on it. It would be great if all three of my current machines showed up on the old console, it would be even better if I could make some kind of sense of what’s going on in the new console.

MacOS BigSur no longer supported... Need help finding a solution to my current lack of protection.

I’m using a MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2014) with Big Sur OS….. I updated the secure anywhere app recently and as a result my Mac is no longer compatible with SecureAnyWhere App.. Can it be reverted to the previous version that sill worked on my system? Aside from the Anti-Virus capabilities, there were several other very helpful/useful functions to help maintain my Mac… Why would it tell me to update my App when the Update would make the product I Paid for completely unusable? Anybody know of any possible options for me to maintain some level of Virus Protection on this computer? The computer still runs like new its a shame Apple has stopped OS Support for it…. Guess I’ll have to switch to a Linux build to avoid more inevitable compatibility issues…

MacOS Webroot nonstop warnings

Every time I turn on Mac 14.6.1, I receive 1-5 virus warnings. It is always from files in the /LaunchAgents folder. There are aboutMy other AVs, MalwareBytes, BitDefender do not find any viruses. I have seen 15 different files inside of that folder be flagged by Webroot. I don't want to turn on my Mac everyday and receive 1-5 warnings.

Microsoft Defender + Webroot 2024 on PC

I have used Webroot for years on my Windows 10 PC. No problems that I’ve seen. (I’m new to this community forum, though). I read about Microsoft Defender, which is already included in the Microsoft 365 subscription. I opened Defender and it has this message: We work with Webroot Secure Anywhere We noticed you’re already using Webroot SecureAnywhere for anti-malware protection. Microsoft Defender works with your existing anti-malware so you can manage your security all in one place. You also get the added bonus of keeping track of your device status and alerts from any of your connected devices. So does this mean I now have BOTH Defender and Webroot protection, or just Webroot and Defender is standing around? Should I monitor security through Webroot, or “all in one place” through Defender? Is there any reason to have Defender active if I have Webroot? I checked the community posts, but any about Defender were 7-9 years old, and I’d like to hear some recent info. Picked a virus that Webroot missed: mergenetworkprotocol

I clicked on a link I shouldn’t have, and by doing so introduced my computer to a malwar called mergenetworkprotocol. It produces pop-up ads on my computer that won’t go away. On the web, I learned that it can do a lot of other nasty things. How can I get rid of it?

I am so confused - from how many different sites is Webroot acct access possible??

In the process of setting up a new laptop, it’s been a while since I’ve had to delete/deactivate a device from my Webroot console, I start by clicking on the “My Account” box within the Webroot app on one of my laptops (see Pic 1). Clicking that box takes me to https://myaccount.carbonite.com/ ; I don’t recall ever conducting any business here. I eventually manage to log on and get to a somewhat user un-friendly page that lists my currently protected machines with names I don’t remember assigning (Pic 2). I’m not entirely convinced this page is legit even though I reached it directly through a link within my Webroot app. After some futile attempts at getting some actual customer service I stumbled across another page that looks way more familiar/legit (https://my.webrootanywhere.com/ ); it also has my machines listed with names that I remember assigning (Pic 3). Aside from the assigned computer names all the other info (keycode, version) indicates this is the same account on each page.

Just wanted to confirm: Webroot Endpoint Protection only runs on Windows or Mac. There is no business product for mobile devices: phones and tablets? If I want to use Webroot, will I need to purchase separate Webroot Mobile Security home-user licenses for each device?

Carbonite Keeps Asking for Full Disk Access

I am running Carbonite Safe CE 22.3 on a MacBook Pro M1 Max, running macOS Monterey Version 12.4 (21F79). About once a week, I am asked to grant it Full Disk Access permission. Except that it already has it. I see that Webroot Secure Anywhere went through this about two years ago in other threads. But I do not see a solution. Any ideas? Just to prove the point, here is a screen shot:

Webroot processes in Task Manager

Running Windows 10 Pro,22H2,x64 . Recently renewed my SecureAnywhere, and ran wsainstall.exe, entered new key and everything seemed good. Then started having Windows startup issues, not hardware, and I noticed in Task Manager, 5 processes running for Webroot, two of which show 32-bit. 3 processes have dark green circles with white W, the 2 32-bit ones have light green circle with black W. Two of the dark ones show associated with “WRCoreService” and “WRSkyClient” . One of the 32-bit ones shows “WRSVC”. Any chance that has anything to do with the startup issues? Thanks.
