If I have an identical file in two locations, do I only need to enter one path to my Allow list to prevent monitoring? For those curious as to the file, it's qaac.exe - an audio encoder which I use with foobar2000 and dBpoweramp.   As an aside, is there a way I can edit the email address entered when first installing WSA?

Even though all posts I have found on this topic claim full compatibility between WSA and Malwarebytes, I am consistently finding WSA flagging what seems as genuine Malwarebytes components as adware: wajam_validate.exe-k.mbam wajam_validate.exe-u.mbam wajam_validate.exe-r.mbam   in Malwarebyte installation dir are all reported as Pua.Adware.Pass.Show and cannot be cleaned...   Any idea?   Thanks!

where does it show scan result for anything that been detected, also the option for quarantine ? Can webroot do a full sysytem scan, if so can you explain how ? Thanks jeannie

I scan my computer with Webroot  it gets to about 60% into the scan and then stops  .....when I go to re-scan later it states the last scan was aborted ? 

My Webroot won't scan my computer, it says, "Scan failed. SecureAnywhere cannot reach internet.  I have an iMAC.  Any ideas how to fix it?

Insult, then injury by Webroot's amateur antivirus   After hours of wasted time and frustration that Webroot does virtually nothing to mitigate for new users, I discovered through sheer luck that Secure Anywhere Antivirus was the villain that blocked cut-and-paste functions among my various programs. Problem solved? No way.    Now, a couple of months later, all of my manually-added programs in Application Protection have simply vanished. I'm faced with entering them all over again. Why?   How many more times will your amateur program that boasted in sales pitches of automatically adding my programs, and lied by claiming "everything you need to know" is included in your online guide to adding apps, do this? On my PC with Windows 8.1, when I do a search for something all of the links have a green mark showing that the link is safe. On my laptop with Windows 7 I see nothing showing if it is safe or not.

I exited the Webroot installation program becaud=se I am having problems with the old Webroot. Now, when I want to continue with the instructions, but I don't know how to recall the instructions. Any help will be greatly appreciated.  

A customer brought me a computer that they haven't used in a few years, still has Windows XP installed.  They asked me to remove the password.  I ran our software to remove the user password, and when Windows booted up I was informed that Webroot parental controls had restored the password to the account and to use the password to log into the system...   Is there a way to bypass this?  The only thing I can imagine doing would be to pull the drive, load the registry, remove all instances of webroot / norton / symantec, and remove any program directories for webroot.  I'm hoping there might be an easier way to take care of t his.  Any ideas?   Edit:  Exact Message: "It appears that this Webroot Parental Controls administator account had been deleted and recreated without a password.  Your original account password is restored.  Please log on using that password"
