I have changed my password over and over and over and so on, allowing browser to save the credentials. Why doesn't the website allow me to login??
What does "an active process has a possible handle leak (explorer.exe)" mean and how do I fix this?
We're having a problem where multiple users are stuck on an older version of the software (9.0.21.18) and I'm not able to get the software to update without uninstalling and installing the software again. When I try to select the 'refresh configuration' option from one of the agents that is having this issue, I get an error saying it's currently using the newest software. This is occurring on our windows and mac users. Does anyone know of a command I can push through the webroot portal or of an agent procedure I can use to force the agent to update without having to reinstall it?
I just had a warning about one station having a malware, and I sent cleaning up command via GSM. However, I wonder how I can check if the agent is really received the command, and it is going to execute the command? Thanks.

Hi, One of our clients use 'Webroot SecureAnywhere Business Endpoint Protection'. They have 2 accounts inclusing one account admin. They had logged in to their account last year. They haven't logged in for the last 3 to 4 months. Now when they try to login with one account they are not able to. They tried to reset the password, the mail to reset in not received, We checked in mail server and email gateway. It is not there too. The account admin is able to login. But it is asking to set the account again after the login. Please let me know how do I resolve this. I had raised a support ticket but the issue is unresolved after a week.
I am not sure I am missing something, but why is an endpoint entry determined by either the id generated based off of the hardware and sofware? Why isn't there a single unique ID generated irrespective of the operating system or hardware? I feel the majority of duplicates happen because either the hardware changed for an endpoint or the operating system was significantly updated. I understand that you need to differentiate between machines for licensing, but it's interesting that the base for the generation of id's chosen aren't the most stable elements.
I have developed a website where people can upload files to and I would like to scan these uploads for viruses. Webroot Endpoint Protection is running on the same machine the site is running on. Is there a way, perhaps using the Unity API and SDK, to use Webroot to scan these files?
I scanned the "eicar.com" testvirus. My Webroot Endpoint Protection did not recognize it and said No Threats. When I scan this file on the virustotal-website, it says Webroot sees this file correctly as "W32.Eicar.Testvirus.Gen". Is it correct that Endpoint Protection does not see it as a threat?
Hi, we are interested in this product and are currently testing several others with similar functionality. Wondering if this product is available yet, and/or if there is a trial available, or even a beta as we are willing to participate in testing. Thanks, Wayne
For whatever reason, whenever I try to log in to the WebRoot SecureAnywhere Portal Site, it immediately tells me I've successfully logged out. I don't get a bad password error, and have verified the user/pass combo is correct. Is this happening to anyone else?
I am a long time happy Webroot customer. I download most installers into my C:SysAdminInstallers directory and run them from there, where the installer asks for the installation directory. No problem, I put in C:Program Files. With this Nov. 2018 release of WebRoot, however, things have changed. It overrode my specification and attempted to install itself into the following subdirectory: C:SysAdminInstallers%program files%RllpdptrqVgdPtGk.exe I attempt to put in C:Program Files and the WebRoot installer overrode it with %programfiles% as a subdirectory using requested randomized directory and file name. C:SysAdminInstallers%program files% Yes that is '%' in the file name. I figure I must be missing some basic concept or be infected by a virus. Yes both my machine and user environment variables are set as follows: programfiles =C:Program Files I think the last time I had to set environment variables was sometime in the 1980s with MS-DOS. I say "attempted" because the installation

Hello all, appreciate any help in advance. I'm looking for a way to block Amazon Prime Video website without having to block the entire amazon.com domain. I'm using Webroot Endpoint protection, as well as DNS Protection. Any ideas?
Hi, when creating an excel .xlsx file from our own software report system I get an error as follows and no file can be created: 'Failed - Virus scan failed' Any help would be most appreciated on how to fix this. Picture below:
G'day folks, new here. I joined to get some assistance. I have two clients whose machines froze after rebooting following latest updates to Windows 10 last week. I have reset both computers whilst trying to find the culprit. Installing Webroot on a fresh install of Win10 with updates, no other programs and it freezes. If I install it in safe mode, it installs but the computers freeze when entering desktop. I then have to restore back. What is going on with Webroot?
I can see IP Address for the last time a laptop was online, is it possible to also see the Port? The reason I'm asking is we had two laptops stolen and police have asked for the port details in order to secure a trace from the provider.
I was looking into the reports and was wondering a couple things: 1. Can we generate non-graph reports? Something with text detailing type of threat discovered, when it was identified and when it was removed? 2. Adding a company logo to the title screen. 3. Modifying the format displayed for current reports. ie: instead of showing 1 report per page possibly show 4 reports per page? Regards, Matt
Hi, I recall that when Windows 10 1709 came out, there was a performance issue that required disabling the realtime shield in some cases. Obviously not something we'd like to do long term. Is that issue resolved now or should the machines that had that issue still run with the realtime shield disabled?
I am guessing this may be a future request but I thought I would ask if there is a way to create a custom template that would email Admins of Webroot devices that are outdated X amount of days?
Hi, I want to force the installation of the webroot extension by GPO. I have test the Google chrome GPO to install the webroot extension , this function work well . I have a server that I wish to remove Webroot from. The software has been "fully" uninstalled and the only remnant I can find is the application entry in "Ädd/Remove Programs". I have tried both the Webroot removal tool and the upgrade tool which both run and report success however the entry remains. >> Webroot SecureAnywhere 9.18.44 Any help would be greatly appreciated.
When I sort by "status" or "last seen" in group management with a site that has 50+ endpoints, the sorting only applies on a page-by-page basis. For instance, when I sort by status, an endpoint on the second page that "needs attention" will not show up at the top of the first page, but instead will show up at the top of the second page. The sorting applies to each individual page of 50 and doesn't re-sort the whole group of endpoints and re-order them. Is there a setting in a policy to allow the client ot manually start a scan via the GUI without setting the policy to unmanaged?
I am new to Webroot. We currently have 30 sites listed in GSM and I want to generate a monthly report that prints each workstation for each site, with totals on machines that have an endpoint and the date that it was installed. I dont want charts, just the actual workstation names, per site for accounting. In other words we bill monthly, passing on the cost of the endpoint for each workstation to the customer. This would be like an accounting report. I have played with the reports in the GSM but they all seem to only do charts. Can someone show me how to do this?
